12 Bomber Jackets You Need For Fall

I’ve been going back and forth on whether bomber jackets are for me. I see them styled on other ladies and I love them. Chic, sporty, and versatile – all things that resonate with me. I think the cropped length coupled with the puffy material is throwing me off. Anything that makes you look bigger than you are, especially for a petite girl like myself, is never a good idea. When I recently  spotted this Madewell option, I was intrigued. The side slits could help with all the bulk and it’s on the thinner side. I have last years green version from Madewell, and while it’s puffy, I’m determined to wear it more this year (it’s just so darn comfortable).

The verdict on this side zip Madewell bomber – it’s a great option! You’re definitely not getting as much poof as most bomber jackets and the side slits are a nice detail. Unzip for a less cocoon feel, or zip for that true bomber feel. I’m wearing the xxs and it fits nicely everywhere. The sleeves are a tad long, but nothing too crazy. My only gripe, the color. I wish this came in green or navy. Black has proven to be a little less versatile, which is crazy for me to even say. This style of jacket in black seems very official or something. Like I’m going to work as a man, lol. I don’t even know what that means, haha. I’m going to play with it to see if I can style it with more outfits. I’m even debating exchanging it for the pink…  Thoughts?
