I’ve struggled with finding petite-friendly outerwear all season. There’s limited options to begin with, but the most annoying part, everything seems to be sold out in my size. I’ve known about Boohoo petites for a while, (I have the black waterfall coat), but was hesitant to make any big orders because I wasn’t sure about sizing and quality. Plus, orders tend to take a long time to get to you based on my past experiences with them. With all that being said, I’ve been so desperate for outerwear, I ended up placing an order a couple weeks ago. I snagged the shawl collar coat in mocha, the waterfall coat in stone, the double breasted camel duster coat, and the longline camel duster coat. I’m happy to report, I love everything and I don’t have to deal with returns!

First and foremost, you have to know what you’re getting yourself into when ordering from Boohoo. They’re a fast fashion website, meaning you get what you pay for. You know a coat that’s $20-$60 is not going to be the best quality. Since I had experience with some of their outerwear before, I sort of knew what to expect. Both duster coats have lining, but the material is synthetic and not the best quality (the wrap coats have a very felt like material). The upside and reason why I kept everything – the sizing. I ordered a petite 0 for all coats and they fit extremely well. The arms run long on the longline coat, but other than that, the lengths, shoulder widths, and arm widths and lengths are perfect. Honestly, this never happens and I’m still in shock I scored 4 new coats under $170.

I had been on the search for a longline coat and I’m so happy with this one (the second look from above). Perfect length and a great neutral color. Since all the coats are very lightweight pieces, I’m so excited to transition them into spring. If you’re thinking about ordering from Boohoo, know shipping may take longer than you’re normally used to and you’re getting what you pay for (not the best quality). Since I had such a great experience with this last order, I’ll be on the lookout for any new must-have spring pieces and will keep you posted.
