Everyday Wear for Men & Kids

I’m so excited to feature my 2 favorite people on the blog today! While we spend a lot of time together as a family of 3, Mike and Harper spend the majority of the work week together. They give me time to work alone and get a lot of things done, which has been so helpful in growing Crystalin Marie. They’ll run errands, do fun activities, play in the house together, go to the park, or just explore. This was something we talked about before having kids, and while it took some time to finally get here, we wouldn’t have it any other way. I love their bond and seeing them both grow together.

Because of our lifestyle, everyone in our family tends to lean toward having very casual style. We like comfort over everything and since I do the majority of the clothes shopping, I really do pick pieces that work with what we like to do. My style is very casual and since becoming a dad, Mike prefers a more athletic vibe. I also stick to more comfortable and functional pieces for Harper – right now I avoid any jeans or complicated pieces and stick to leggings, tee shirts, and sweaters or sweatshirts. She’s at a very active age and I want her to be comfortable and be able to move around. I get so many questions about both Harper and Mike’s clothes and I’m excited to team up with Nordstrom to share my favorite everyday wear for men and kids.

You guys know how much I shop at Nordstrom. They really are my go-to destination for just about everything and everyone. You can’t beat their return/exchange policy, free shipping, and $12 two day shipping. Harper’s shoe collection is slowly growing and I think nearly every single shoe is from Nordstrom – they have the best selection for kids shoes! 

On Mike – Nike Tech Fleece Zip Hoodie & Tech Fleece Joggers, Norstrom Men’s T-Shirts
I absolutely love this set on Mike. He loves Nike and this jogger/jacket set is elevated, but comfortable at the same time. He’s able to move around, play with Harper, get her in and out of the car comfortably, but he still feels good in it and looks pulled together. His t-shirt is new Nordstrom find. Mike has the toughest time finding tees that are long enough after he washes them. His normal size (L) fits well and long. Although we haven’t washed them yet, he thinks these will shrink to just the right length.  

On Harper –  Miles Baby Organic Sweatshirt & Leggings, Adidas Swift Run sneakers 
This set is the cutest! The pale pink is feminine, without being over the top and I love the fit. The leggings are fitted and the sweatshirt is a little loose. And I can’t say enough good things about her sneakers. Adidas tend to run big, but I found these to run TTS. If you’re looking for a chic, neutral pair of sneakers, these are awesome!
