My Favorite Rompers for the Summer

Rompers are such a fun piece for summer, but they’re a little complicated. First you have the whole, I have to take everything off in order to go to the bathroom situation (make sure the public bathroom door is locked) and then there’s the awkward fit. Obviously, if you’re not into either, you probably don’t reach for rompers once the weather warms up. I’ve gone back and forth and have learned, in order to embrace rompers, you need to find the right one for you.

I have a long torso, so many rompers won’t work for me. After some trial and error, I’ve noticed when a romper runs slightly big, it actually works in my favor. That extra room in the length makes a big difference. One of my favorite things about rompers, you’re one and done. There’s no fuss, maybe add a layer, and your done. I also happen to think they’re quite versatile. You can dress them up or down and even wear them as a coverup. I snagged this Tularosa romper at Nordstrom Rack, which was actually on my wishlist last year. Happy to have snagged it at a discounted rate this time around. I’m such a sucker for white rompers and the eyelet details and open-back make this one a head turner. Thankfully, the xs runs slightly big, so I didn’t have any long torso issues. It has since sold out at Nordstrom Rack, but I found it here and here. P.S. I’m wearing these foam cups under, so no bra straps.

If you’re into rompers, I’m sharing my favorites from around the web below.
