Getting in the Spirit with Banana Republic

Banana Republic Holiday

Banana Republic has been my go-to for all things holiday this season and I’m so excited to partner with them to share some of my favorite party styles with you. First of all, I have to say, BR is killing it with their festive party pieces. I recently bought a huge haul that I will share on Stories soon – think velvet pants, sequin tops, satin slip dress, and fuzzy sweaters. I honestly feel like they read my mind. In years past, I would be searching for velvet trousers or a sequin blazer and I could never find anything in my size or style. Well, Banana Republic has everything this year and the best part, they come in petite sizes!

I am very picky when it comes to my holiday style. I like to keep things neutral and if I do play with something fun like sequins, I like to keep the rest of my look balanced. Not to mention, I need everything in petite sizes. See how this can be very difficult to shop for? Thankfully, there’s Banana Republic. They tend to create pieces that are festive, but tailored and tasteful, which I can really appreciate.

The satin midi slip skirt might be my favorite piece this holiday season. It’s absolutely beautiful in person and it’s extremely versatile. You can wear it now to multiple holiday parties, but you can also wear it year round. The champagne color is the perfect neutral to use as a starting point to create so many outfits. Ugh, I’m so obsessed (runs TTS)! I love it paired with a chunky sweater, but you can also swear it with a cami and blazer or leather jacket. The high-rise wide-leg sequin pants are also a fun way to get into the holiday spirit (looks like they’re sold out. Be sure to check your local store). I didn’t think I was a sequin person, but I actually love it for the holidays. They’re a mood changer for sure and you can’t help but feel good when you wear them. To help keeps things more casual, I paired my sequin pants with a fair isle sweater. I typically leave fair isle to more casual outfits, but I love the juxtaposition with the dressed up sequin pants. The pants have an elastic waist, which makes them extra comfortable. They do run a little long for me, even in the petite length (for reference, I’m 5ft).

If you have quite a few holiday parties, dinners, and get togethers this season, be sure to check out Banana Republic’s holiday collection. They have so many festive petite options. Small sizes do sell out fast, so snag your size asap. I’m sharing more favorites below.
