Holiday Wear: Metallics

Could this be my most feminine look to date? I’m a changed woman, lol. This is my second post in my Holiday Wear series and these photos might be my favorite so far. Aside from the wrinkles (which kinda ruin these photos, err!), I just love how this Banana Republic dress photographed. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite dress of all time, but it looks so much more beautiful on than on the rack. Bump-friendly, but non-maternity, so you can wear this if you’re pregnant or not. It comes in a beautiful green color as well. For reference, I’m wearing a petite xs, but could have sized up to a petite small.

Metallics are a great option for the holidays. You get that festive look without looking like a walking ornament. It can be subtle yet beautiful. I can’t even tell you what color my dress is. I just love the shine to it, though. It really makes a basic dress pop. There’s many ways to incorporate metallic into your holiday looks. Go super subtle by wearing metallic heels or go more bold, like I did, in a metallic dress. I’m sharing more fun options below just in case you’re still looking for something to wear for an upcoming get-together or party.
