This outfit is a prime example of why I truly believe in investing in classics and neutrals. 99.9% of the time, they never go out of style. They can sit in your closet for months, be rediscovered, and still work with your current wardrobe. Case in point, this H&M sweater (very similar option) and these AG boyfriend jeans. Both classics, both neutrals, and both haven’t seen daylight in months (maybe even a year). Not because I don’t like them anymore, rather, I often times get caught up in my latest purchases, so old favorites get neglected. Doesn’t this happen to you? But, the greatest thing about creating a wardrobe that is timeless and classic is that you can always reach for older pieces and pair them with new investments for an endless amount of combinations. You’d be surprised with how small my closet actually is… I just get a ton of wear out of everything.
