Happy Monday, friends! How was your weekend? Mike played in his second tennis tournament, so tennis was about all we did. Sadly, he lost in the semi-finals, but I’ll blame it on his injured elbow ;). The forecast says we’re in for sunshine and mid to high 60’s this week, so this girl is all kinds of happy. You appreciate the sun so much when you move the PNW… it’s the little things, I swear.

Speaking of little things, I recently stumbled upon J.Crew’s leather knee boots or what I like to call the perfect riding boots and they’re giving me all the fall feels. I’ve kind of shied away from riding boots in the past because I couldn’t ever find the right pair. I was looking for boots that were simple without any buckles, buttons, or embellishments. The shaft of the boot also needed to work with my small frame. Shafts tend to be my biggest issue, they’re either too tall or wide. I’m so happy I found these, not only do they fit extremely well, BUT they’re incredibly comfortable. They have a super simple and sleek look to them, which is my favorite part, but the leather is also gorgeous and I love the short heel for added height. If you’re petite and struggling to find riding boots, I would definitely check these out (or if you’re just looking for a simple cognac boots).
