Kiss me I’m Irish … (Ok not really)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all!!! This so called holiday that us, Americans have adopted, is a yearly holiday celebrated on the 17th of March to commemorate the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. A festive day for the Irish people and now the rest of us, today is a day to celebrate with parades, wearing of the green, sumptuous feasts, joyous merrymaking, and the frothy delights of what we call beer. One of the reasons I love St. Patrick’s Day is it takes place just a few days before the first day of Spring… I would like to say it has become the first green of Spring and the time to bring out the dresses, and wedges, to smell the beautiful flowers, and enjoy the sunshine… Well I mean, obviously any excuse to enjoy in the accompany of friends and beverages I’ll take!

Tonight I will be celebrating St. Patties Day in San Jose with my good old love bugs. We’re all headed to Sonoma Chicken Coop in downtown Campbell for some green beverages and entertainment by San Jose’s Redwood; a premier live-performance band who blend 90’s alternative and Indie pop-rock originals. UH did I mention, the lead singer, Lauren Labinger, is a friend and coworker and the whole reason we are in attendance, duh! Super excited to hear rock out!

Come join in on the fun; good friends, drinks, food, and live music by Redwood. See you there ;)
