Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: 50 Try-On’s + Purchases

Okay, this is one of my favorite posts to date. Not because it has pretty pictures or the best outfits, but I’m sharing my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchases and try-on’s, and let’s just say, there’s some good stuff this year. I’m all for showing you how to style my favorite pieces (those posts to come), but I also think it’s extremely helpful to share my thoughts on sizing, fit, quality, and versatility of each item. It’s a long post, so grab your coffee and get comfy!

Keep in mind, this is everything I’ve ordered so far (yes, there’s more on its way) to TRY ON, not necessarily to keep. Instead of going in-store to try everything on, I’m doing it the comfort of my own home. The great thing about Nordstrom, you can get next day shipping for only $15 and it’s free returns if you don’t love it. Let me know if you have any questions about certain items and I’ll do my best to get back to you asap.

IMPORTANT – if something I’ve shared is sold out completely or just in your size, make sure you check back every so often. Sizes come in and out based on being in people’s cart (and not checking out), returns, or being restocked. This happens throughout the sale, so be sure to track your favorite products. I’m waiting for this cardigan in camel in pxxs to come back in-stock. Literally I check 2-3 times/day (I should get a life).

Lastly, be sure to check out all my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale content here and my top picks for Home, Beauty, and Fitness. Happy shopping!

COATS

Trina Turk camel coat
sam edelman anorak

Trina Turk camel coat (pp) – I saw this coat in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog and knew I had to snag it. The color plus faux fur detail, definitely make it a stand out piece. Unfortunately the petite was still very overwhelming. I could have lived with the oversized fit in the shoulders, but the arm width was way to wide. If you’re interested in this coat and are not petite, I would recommend going petite because the coat is oversized. Good quality and the camel color is such a versatile piece in the fall/winter.

Also comes in black.

Sam Edelman anorak (pxs) – This coat was such a steal and I couldn’t be more obsessed once it saw it in-person. I just love the style and I know I’ll get a ton of wear out it once fall and winter hit. The petite xs still fits oversized, but I think with heavy sweaters under, it will be perfect. The faux fur hood is removable and the split-back drawstring hem allows you to cinch the coat to make it more snug. While it’s not the heaviest anorak out there, it’s fully lined and does the job while looking super cute. The coat does look semi-plain online, but it’s really chic in-person (the power of trying -on, right?). Can’t wait to style this with heeled booties!

Kenneth Cole Faux fur coat
Bernardo packable jacket

Kenneth Cole faux fur coat (pxs) – I missed out on the teddy coat trend last year, so when I saw this one, I snagged it right away. These coats tend to look awful on websites, but I’ve seen them look really chic when they’re actually styled on someone. This one had potential. The shoulders fit nicely and the arm length works, but I think the length is overwhelming on my frame. I also don’t know how I feel about the pattern. I swear to you, it looks better in person, lol. I will say, it’s really warm!

Also comes in gray.

Bernardo Packable jacket (pxs) – This was part of Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale last year and I’m so glad I snagged it. It was one of my most-used items in my closet from fall to winter and even in spring (we had a pretty bad spring). The fit is very petite-friendly and I love the way the waist cinches in, making it super flattering. The rose gold hardware is really pretty and makes this coat pop. There’s a stowaway hood in the collar as well. If you’ve been thinking about this jacket or needing a packable jacket, I couldn’t recommend this one more!

Also comes in cherry, portwine, olive.

JACKETS

Madewell utility jacket
Via Spiga moto leather jacket

Madewell utility jacket (xxs) – I’m a sucker for anything Madewell, so when I saw that this utility jacket was part of the sale, I snagged it right away. Plus, you can’t ever go wrong with a green/olive military jacket. They’re extremely versatile and look great on all body types. This one arrived very stiff. I’m hoping after some wears, it will loosen up a bit. It also runs long on my frame, although I think it’s normal length for non-petites. The shoulders and arm length fit really nicely and there’s pull ties inside the jacket around the waist where you can cinch the jacket. It’s very lightweight, so you can easily wear it now on cooler nights and then transition it to fall by layering a sweater.

Via Spiga moto leather jacket (ps) – I had high hopes for this baby and while I think it still has potential, the petite small is too big for me (wah, wah). I ordered a size up because I thought higher-end brands made their leather jackets more snug.  Since I also ordered the Blank NYC moto jacket, I decided not to give the petite xs a go. I just figure, I like the later option and for less than $65, you can’t go wrong. I do like that this one structured. It gives it that luxe feeling. The gold hardware stands out and makes a statement. The arms run wide, long, and stiff, which is unfortunate. The smooth shiny leather also reminds me of something from the 80’s. This would be something I could overlook, if it was a little more fitted. If you’re looking for a real leather jacket, you may want to check this one out. I think if you have the right proportions, this could be a really nice jacket (someone taller than me). The sale price makes this piece an absolute steal!

Halogen long blazer
Blank NYC moto leather jacket

Halogen navy pin-stripe long blazer (pxxs) – I had been looking for a long blazer for years. Being petite, outerwear isn’t the easiest to find, so you can imagine my reaction when I saw this in the Nordstrom catalog and that it came in petite sizing. The petite xxs fits well in the shoulders and arm length, but I will say it has an oversized fit. I happen to really love it, think it’s super flattering, and for less than $75, you’re getting a deal. It’s lined, collarless, and has no closure.

Also comes in black, light pink, and red.

Blank NYC faux leather jacket (xs) – Since I’ve had great experiences in the past with Blank NYC moto jackets, I had high hopes for this jacket. I’ve noticed, the brand tends to run large in all their pieces, except their jackets – no complaints over here. While the faux leather material is not the greatest, I love the style and fit. Honestly, for less than $65, this jacket is a steal. Everything fits perfectly, except the sleeves run slightly long. I will either roll them under or get them hemmed. I also really love the gold hardware. BTW, I didn’t notice any odors.

Also comes in a dark olive color.

Caslon twill jacket
caslon twill jacket 2

Caslon peplum utility jacket (pxxs) – Another Nordstrom catalog find that I had to have. I’m a sucker for utility jackets and I loved the little details on this one that made it unique. I’m wearing a petite xs in this photo, but I actually ordered a petite xxs as well. Oddly enough, I didn’t notice the difference between the 2 sizes. I will keep the petite xxs, but just know for reference, there isn’t a huge difference (in case they’re sold out of your size). This jacket is extremely lightweight, so it’s a great piece to wear now with shorts and later in the fall with more layers. Aside from the unique peplum detail, I also really love that it’s a shorter utility jacket. Love it with a sweater or tee hanging down lower than the jacket.

Also comes in gray and burgundy.

DENIM

Rag & Bone high waist ankle jeans
AG legging ankle jeans

Rag & Bone high-waisted ankle jeans (25, run big) – I wasn’t really sure what to expect with these because of the high waist (this bump doesn’t like high-waisted anything), but I’m happy to report these are amazing. And I mean AMAZING. Rag & Bone is my favorite brand of jeans and these do not disappoint. They’re extremely soft and comfortable not to mention light and breathable. The dark wash is perfect for fall and winter and super flattering. I ordered a 25 thinking I would need to size up, but I actually reordered a 24. I do think they run large. Without a doubt one of my top picks from the sale!

AG raw hem legging ankle jeans (25, TTS) – These legging ankle jeans are a huge hit during the Nordstrom sale. They end up being everyone’s favorite buy every year. This is actually my first time trying on this style (how come it’s taken me so long?) and I must say, they’re incredibly comfortable. I’m always on the fence with medium wash denim, but I actually really like these. The length runs long, so if I do keep them, I’ll end up cutting the bottom hem (thankfully, they’re a raw hem already). Sized up with my growing belly, but they do run TTS. AG always has comfortable jeans, so I’m not surprised these are a fan favorite. Definitely worth the sale price!

AG legging distressed jeans
AG ankle jeans with distressing

AG legging ankle distressed jeans (25, TTS) – I was hesitant to try on jeans, in general, but I’m so glad I did because these are so comfortable. The stretch factor on these bad boys is crazy good. I wasn’t sure how to feel about low rise, as I’ve been buying so many mid and high rise jeans this last year, but I actually love it for my growing belly. They don’t go up high enough to bother me. I did go up a size (because I want them to fit for a while), but I will say they run TTS. Even the distressing lands on my knee! Despite being ankle length, these do run slightly long on me. Deciding whether to keep these or the ones above and once I do, I’ll end up cutting the hem. I am leaning toward these considering the darker wash and distressing.

Kut from Kloth ankle jeans
Kut from Kloth step hem jeans

KUT from Kloth step hem ankle jeans (petite 2, run big) – These were such a surprise, in the best possible way. While they’re not the best quality denim, the price on these babies can’t be beat. The length runs true to petite sizing. They hit right at the ankle and it’s hard for me to find jeans that do that. No rolling under and no DIY hems, woohoo! The wash is nice and dark and super flattering. I also really love that they’re super tapered at the ankle. They have a lot of stretch, so while tight, they’re still incredibly comfortable. The 2 ran big, so I actually reordered the 0 petite. One of my favorite buys from the sale for sure!

Caslon cargo pants
Paige gray ankle jeans

Caslon utility pants (petite 24) – These were such a good find! I just found my perfect cargo pants (seen in this post), but since these came in petite, I had to give them a try and fill you all in. The material is thin, stretchy, and super comfortable. The olive color is fairly muted, making them very versatile (wear them with black, white, cream, beige, stripes, denim, gray, and navy). These hit right at the ankle, which I’m always a big fan of (no rolling under!). I was afraid the 24’s would be too small, but they actually fit really nicely. I will say, these do run slightly big, so you may want to size down.

Paige Verdugo gray raw hem ankle jeans (25, runs small) – I wore my old BR gray jeans so often last fall and winter, I thought I’d give these a shot. These are ankle jeans, but they do run long for me. I have them rolled under here. The denim is thick, tight, but stretchy. The 25’s fit a little snug, so I would say these run small, so size up. I’ve noticed gray jeans can be hit or miss due to heavy fading. Luckily, these have minimal fading and are actually super flattering. These are low rise, so keep that in mind.

Frame step hem jeans
AG ex boyfriend crop jeans

Frame black step hem jeans (25) – This was my first time trying Frame jeans, if you can believe it. I love the thick, stretchy denim and the fit is really  nice. The ankle step hem ran long for me, but only slightly. So, if you’re 5’2″ these will actually hit you at your ankle. I love that these suck you in and make you’re legs look super skinny. They do attract everything, so you will need to keep a lint roller with you at all times, lol. Other than that though, these are awesome! Run TTS

AG Ex-Boyfriend crop slim jeans (23) – I have an older version of these jeans, but shy away from wearing them because the 24’s run a little too wide in the legs. Knowing that, I ordered a size down and they fit perfect. They fit more like skinny boyfriend jeans, if that makes sense. The distressing lands in the perfect spots and I love the medium wash. Finding boyfriend jeans that don’t overwhelm my petite frame is hard, so these were an awesome find.

SWEATERS

Gibson tie front sweater
Two by vince camuto waffle sweater

Gibson tie front fleece pullover (xs, comes in petites as well) – I found this sweater in-store and I can’t even describe to you how soft it is. So cozy and comfortable, the fleece material makes it feel more like loungewear. I love the heathered gray color. While the top comes in petite sizes, this was the smallest I could find in-store and it actually works. The nice thing about the tie-front, you can pull it as tight as you want to make it fit. I like the oversized fit, so I didn’t think I needed to reorder a petite size. I will be wearing this with jeans, but also with athleisure wear, loungewear, and pj’s. Talk about versatility! This is not something you necessarily need in your closet, but I promise you will love it!

Also comes in black, blush, burgundy, olive, and purple.

Two by Vince Camuto waffle stitch vest (pxs) – I always go back and forth with sleeveless sweaters in the fall/winter, but I wanted to give this petite option a try. I love the waffle texture and large turtleneck. I can see myself layering it with a jacket or even wearing a long or short sleeve tee under. The petite xs fits perfectly oversized, not too tight and not overwhelming. The waffle stitch is more loose than tight making it all around a more comfortable fit.

Also comes in pink, ivory, and black.

Free people rose pullover
BP. vneck pullover

Free People pullover sweater (xs) – Free People tends to run large for me, but I loved the texture on this one, so decided to give it a shot. Luckily, it doesn’t fit as large as most FP items do. The xs fits perfectly oversized, slouchy in a good way. The texture alone reminds me of fall, which makes me so excited for sweater weather (too soon?). I love it in this rose color, but it also comes in tan, blue, and red.

Also comes in tan, blue, and red.

BP v-neck pullover (xxs) – This is such a great basic to have in your closet. It’s so lightweight, making it great to wear now and in the fall. The sweater drapes really nicely, so much so, it can be worn off the shoulder. It is on the thin side and it does run big. The xxs fits oversized, but I think it will be a go-to once my bump gets a little bigger. So comfy and pairs well with so many things!

Bought in gray and ivory. Also comes in black, dark green, pink, and red.

Halogen tie front sweater
Haloge tie front sweater in gray

Halogen tie hem sweater (pxs) – I stumbled upon this sweater in-store and couldn’t help but love the tie-front detail. The fit was on point as well, so I couldn’t pass it up. The petite xs fits like a glove and I’m all for a mock neck sweater, especially in these Oregon winters. Anytime a basic sweater is elevated with a little detail, I’m all in. The quality is also really nice. Not scratchy and doesn’t seem as though it pills easily.

Bought in gray and soft pink. Also comes in black and burgundy.

Halogen cashmere turtleneck 2
Halogen cold shoulder sweater

Halogen cashmere turtleneck sweater (pxxs) – This cashmere sweater is SO soft and cozy. I adore the subtle flare sleeves, especially because the length hits me at the perfect spot. While the petite xxs fits me perfectly, I’m debating on exchanging it for a petite xs because these boobs are getting huge, lol. Warm, cute, and perfect for layering in the fall and winter.

Also comes in gray and taupe stripe.

Halogen lace cold shoulder sweater (pxs) – I thought this would be a great option to wear now and later. The fine cotton blend is pretty thin and meant to be worn more form fitted. Since, I’m not into tight clothes, lol, I actually reordered this in petite medium. I’m wearing a petite xs here and as you can see it’s not a slouchy sweater, although I’m trying to make it one. The lace and cutout detail make it a fun and unique piece. Thinking of wearing it with distressed shorts… we’ll see how my oversized fit works out.

Also comes in black and pink.

Caslon zip back pullover in gray
Caslon zip back pullover in black

Caslon zip back pullover (pxs/s) – Okay, I have so much to say about these pullovers. First of all, they’re more like ponchos, which makes me so excited. I have been searching for the perfect petite poncho for several years now. They literally don’t exist. Who knew they came in the form of a ‘pullover’. While the outside of the sweater is a weird material (fleece -like), I’m totally willing to overlook this because I’m obsessed with the look and fit. This fits so well and looks adorable with leggings. I will be living in this all fall and winter, especially with a growing bump. So, so comfortable and so chic! This probably isn’t something you’d see on the site and think, ‘oh yes’, let me order it. But, I’m here to tell you, you will love it once the season changes. Petites rejoice, I have found us the perfect poncho!

Bought in gray and black. Also comes in blue and burgundy.

CARDIGANS

Halogen ribbed cardigan in gray
Halogen ribbed cardigan in black

Halogen long ribbed cardigan (pxxs) – Saw this cardigan in the Nordstrom catalog and had to give it shot. I’m so glad I did because petite sizes are selling out quickly and I’m obsessed. I have it in all 3 colors (cream, gray, and black). I’ve had the hardest time finding cardigans that work on my petite frame and while these are still quite long for me, the shoulders, arms and torso fit really well, so it’s a win in my book. I will be wearing these non-stop, even now for those cooler mornings. I think these will also be great as we head into fall and my belly starts to grow. If your size is in-stock, snag one of these asap.

Bought in gray, black, and cloud.

Halogen ribbed cashmere cardigan
Halogen ribbed cardigan in cream

*The photo to the left is the cashmere version and the photo on the right is the ribbed cardigan above in the cloud color.

Halogen long cashmere ribbed cardigan (pxs/s) – I saw the cashmere version of the cardigan above and had to compare the two. I was surprised when I preferred the ones above, considering it’s cashmere! It’ not as fitted as the cardigan above and a little longer. Great quality though and super soft.

Also comes in black and cobblestone.

TEES

Caslon v neck tee
BP. pocket tee in white stripe

Caslon v-neck tee (pxs) – As simple as it is, this is one of my favorite purchases from the Nordstrom sale so far. I’ve been wearing the white one with everything. I did also snag it in black. From experience, you can never have too many black and white tees and this one fits amazing. It’s soft and drapes really nicely. I love that the rounded v-neck hits at the perfect spot (not too revealing). Definitely a basic to stock up on!

Bought in white and black. Also comes in black stripe, blue, teal, gray, heather gray, navy, dark olive, blush, purple, red, yellow, and white stripe.

BP pocket tee (xxs) – One of my favorite basics that’s selling out really fast. I have it in both gray and white stripe and the xxs fits perfectly oversized. This top also comes in solid colors as well. It’s a very thin stretchy material, but oh-so-comfortable. It also drapes really well, making it super flattering. If you’re able to, snag a couple of these to add to your basic tops rotation.

Bought in white and gray stripe. Also comes in black, olive, red, and white.

Halogen striped tunic
Socialite choker tee

Halogen long sleeve tunic (pxs) – Another awesome find that’s going fast. Luckily, I snagged it early in stripe, gray, and cream. The petite xs fits extremely well – fitted in the right areas, but drapes really nicely. The stretchy material makes it incredibly comfortable. The tunic style (longer length) will be great for my growing belly. The stretch modal knit is nice and versatile – dressy enough to wear to the office, but with the right pieces can be dressed down as well. This is a great basic to help you transition from summer to fall.

Bought in stripe, ivory, and gray. Also comes in blue, burgundy, and green.

Social cut-out choker tee (xs) -This was such a pleasant surprise, I actually ordered it in black as well. A jersey soft material that drapes really nicely. I love the choker style neckline, it’s a simple way to evaluate a basic tee. Another great Nordstrom sale basic.

Bought in black and cream. Also comes in purple, gray, blue, mauve, and mustard.

FITNESS

Zella moonlight midi leggings
Zella traing jacket

Zella Moonlight high-waisted midi leggings (xs) – Zella leggings are my absolute favorite leggings of all time. The quality is so nice and at such a good price point. Their midi style leggings hit right at the ankle and this pair is perfection. The ribbed trim at the ankle is super flattering and the fit is on point. I have a handful of Zella leggings and these are my new favorites. An absolute must-have from this sale.

*For those of you who are not petite, I would highly recommend Zella’s Live In High Waist Leggings. I have these as well and they’re amazing. Thick and soft and great for working out or to wear in the fall/winter. I wear these in xxs.

Also comes in red.

Zella training jacket (xs) – I was looking for a cropped wind breaker of sorts and this one is adorable. It runs a little large on me, making it not so cropped and cute, but it can definitely work for someone taller. I love that the pink is subtle, but still makes it unique. This would be so cute with blush sneakers, which btw, are all the rage right now (of course the couple pink sneaker options that were part of the sale are already sold out). If you’re looking for a vintage-like cropped windbreaker, this is a cute option. Just make sure you size down.

Barbour sweat jacket
Zella bomber jacket

Barbour sweat jacket (4) – I randomly spotted this jacket the first day of the sale and immediately fell in the love with the stripe detail. I didn’t have high expectations, considering I had never bought from this brand. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. I would say it runs small for the average person because it fits me really well. I love the mixed fabrics and sporty vibes. It’s a nice lightweight jacket that I know I’ll wear with jeans or workout clothes.

Zella bomber jacket (xs) – This jacket is absolutely adorable, and petite-friendly! The length hits me right below the waist and the sleeves actually hit right at the wrists (this never happens!). This is a great piece to start building your athleisure wear wardrobe. It’s one of those pieces you layer after a workout if you’re going to grab coffee or lunch with a girlfriend. This might be the first bomber style jacket that actually fits me well.

Zella town hoodie
BP. leggings

Zella town hoodie (xs) – Another Zella favorite! This hoodie runs narrow, but long. If you have broad shoulders, you may want to size up. I love, love the funnel hood and kangaroo pockets. It’s lightweight but cozy and warm. A great quality workout basic for under $50.

Also comes in blue, red, and gray.

BP classic leggings (xs) – I’ve been living in leggings ever since being pregnant, so when I spotted these, I had to give them a try. The xs I’m wearing here, is a little small, so I actually ordered 3 pairs in a small. These are pretty awesome, especially for the price. They’re not see through and they hit right at my ankles (this never happens). So, I would say these are very petite-friendly. If you’re a legging person, stock up on these!

DRESSES

Luch ruffle sleeve dress
Halogen ruffle dress

Lush ruffle sleeve t-shirt dress (xs) – I thought this dress could be a good option for my growing belly, but unfortunately it ran long. The description says it’s 33” long, but I want to say it fits more like 34” or 35”. It also runs super wide one me. I wish they made this one in petite sizes… But for anyone over 5’4” this is a super comfortable and casual dress. The material is soft and moves well. Honestly, it’s so comfortable you could easily wear it around the house or lounge around in it. I would also say, size down.

Halogen ruffle hem dress (pxxs) – I was really excited about this dress, thinking I could wear it throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, it ran long. I should have known, considering the description says even the petite length is 35.5”. While the dress does not have lining and isn’t the best quality material, it feels and moves really well. Normally, I don’t love a drop waist on me, but found this one to be flattering. If you’re taller than 5’2”, I think you can pull this one off. The black is super versatile – can be worn in the summer, fall, and even winter.

Comes in black and navy floral.

TOPS

Pleione french terry top
Halogen mixed media swing top

Pleione French terry top (pxs) – I spotted this in-store the first day of the sale and thought it was adorable. While I wouldn’t think peplum ruffles really did it for me, I couldn’t resist it. I’m wondering if it has to do with the stripes. The sweatshirt material is also irresistible. Tops like this are great when you just want to throw on jeans or denim shorts. Simple, but the top makes a statement. You know what I mean? The pxs fits perfectly oversized and the length sits right below my waist. If you’re looking for not-your-average stripe top, this is a fun option.

Also comes in navy.

Halogen mixed media swing top (pxxs) – Another sweatshirt material peplum top that was too adorable to pass on. I wouldn’t say this is a staple or basic you need to add to your closet, but it is a fun comfortable top that makes a statement. It runs wide and short, so keep that in mind. I would have went with a petite xs to help with the length, but it only gets wider, lol. You can easily pair this with shorts now and wear it with jeans later (styling it with jeans and OTK boots on the blog soon).

Also comes in black and navy.

Pleione ruffle sleeve blouse in white
Pleione ruffle sleeve blouse in black

Pleione ruffle sleeve blouse (pxxs) – This top is super adorable, I actually have it both black and white. The petite xxs fits oversized, which I don’t mind. The ruffle sleeves make quite a statement, as in they are large. If you’re not into overwhelming sleeves, this top may not be for you. Anytime I can find a basic top with unique details, I’m all for it, and this top is just that. Since I think it would be quite hard to wear a sweater or jacket over the sleeves, this top is great to wear now – with denim shorts during the day and with jeans and heels for date night.

Bought in white and black. Also comes in red.

SHOES

Dolce vita double zip bootie

Dolce Vita double zip Marra booties (5) – Another favorite I saw in the Nordstrom catalog and had to have. While I have several pointed black booties, I loved the sleekness of these and decided to keep them. Dolce Vita typically runs large, but I found these to fit really well, almost snug. I like my shoes to fit really well, but if you’re looking to wear thick socks, you may want to size up a half size. The suede is super sleek and the fitted ankle make these booties really flattering. Note – only the inside zipper is functional and they’re quite loud when you walk. I have another pair of booties that make the same amount of noise, and you get used to over time, so this wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

The shaft sits a little lower than the Marc Fisher Yoomi and Yatina booties, but not by much. I would say the ankle circumference on these are the smallest of the 2 boots mentioned above.

Also comes in gray and silver.

Marc Fisher Yommi chelsea bootie
Halogen corbin slide loafers

Marc Fisher Yommi Chelsea booties (5) – These are one of my favorite pair of booties I own. I got mine last winter and wore them non-stop and I’m planning to do the same this year. They’re a great dupe to the Acne Jensen bootie that I had been lusting over for a fraction of the price. They’re extremely comfortable, run TTS, and go with everything. I love wearing them with black skinny jeans. Honestly, the black on black makes your legs look so long. They’re also really comfortable to walk in to – I know some booties can rub and irritate your feet. If you’re looking for a flat ankle bootie, these are awesome!

Also comes in black patent and black suede.

Halogen Corbin slide loafers (5) – The second I saw these in the catalog I knew I had to have them. And the best part, they’re even better in-person. The leopard print is done really well (not cheesy at all) and they’re really comfortable. Flats at this price point can be hit or miss when it comes to comfort, but these are awesome! I didn’t even need to break them in. The website says they run small and to size up, but I took my normal size and they fit really well (I’m a small size 5, so you may want to size up). I’ve already worn these so many ways… makes me excited for fall!

Also come in black, tan, and silver.

Marc Fisher Yatina bootie
Sam Edelman camellia tall boots

Marc Fisher Yatina booties (5) – Clearly, I’m obsessed with this style bootie from Marc Fisher, so it was a no brainer that after I saw these, they immediately landed in my basket. They’re nearly identical to the Yommi booties, but with a side zipper and crisscrossing straps that wrap around the ankle. I became even more obsessed when they arrived (if that’s possible). I will be wearing these to death in the fall. They run TTS and have been comfortable so far (I’ve worn them twice out and about). Probably the chicest pair of booties (in my opinion) that are part of the Nordstrom sale. If you’re into the pointed toe bootie, I would snag these before they sell out.

Also come in black.

Sam Edelman Camellia tall boots (4.5, size down a half size) – Honestly, when I saw these I thought I had found my dream boots. I had been looking for a tall camel boot that was very simple and hit just below the knee. Unfortunately, once I tried them on, I realized they were a no go. The shaft is a little to tall for me (hit at my knee, making them uncomfortable). Although I sized down, I think they run TTS. I do love the shape, material, and color of the boots. If you’re slightly taller than me (5ft), these could definitely work. The simplicity of the boot make them incredibly versatile – a fall staple for sure!

Also come in black and asphalt.

Adidas Gazelle sneakers
Kristin Cavallari capri mules

Adidas Gazelle sneakers (5, size down full size) – My aunt has these in a taupe and tan color and I’m obsessed with them. When I saw they came in this soft gray color, I immediately snagged them. The color is really pretty in-person. The soft gray will pair well with other neutrals as well as pastels. These do run a full size big, so you’re going to want to size down. Since they don’t come in a 4, I’m debating whether or not to keep them. I just love the style and color so much. Also know that the tongue of the shoe runs long and wide. If you’re particular about those kinds of things, you may want to pass on these. As with most adidas, they’re really comfortable and a great option if you’re traveling and doing a lot of walking.

Also comes in dust purple.

Kristin Cavallari Capri mules (5) – Another favorite pair of flats I’ve has since last year that are part of the Nordstrom sale. I’ve raved about these on the blog before, but in case you missed it, these are bomb, lol. The caramel color is a great neutral and I love the easy slip on style. They’re also SUPER comfortable. Maybe the most comfortable loafers I own (even more so than my Gucci’s). I’m also a huge fan of the rounded pointed toe. They come in black and a light gray color as well. These are a fall staple friends, you can thank me later. Oh yes, they run TTS.

Also come in black and gray.
