I’m the worst at preparing for the holidays. Well let’s be honest, I’m bad at preparing for any holiday. The only reason we get a Christmas tree and decor up every year is because we have a dedicated box in storage for it and it doesn’t require a ton of work to reassemble everything and put them in place. Anything that needs extra shopping or work, I can’t seem to get myself together. The idea of a decked out place is always grand, but nothing ever comes of it. It’s just not my thing.

While I may only have 3 tiny pumpkins in the apartment (that Mike picked up), I do want to get a head start on holiday/cold weather clothes and accessories. This time of year is all about staying cozy, curling up on the couch, and Netflix marathons, so it makes sense to look cute while doing said activities. I’m all for cheeky graphic tees and I can’t get enough fun loungewear leggings. I’m sure stocking up on scarves are high on your priority list too. The great thing about all of this, these fun clothes and accessories don’t have to break the bank. Be sure to check out Target, Old Navy,  and Gap for some really great options.

P.s. For those of you looking to pick up a pair of Hunter rain boots this season, I’ve heard great things about the packable “Tour” Hunters. Not only can you fold them for traveling, but they’re lighter in weight and have a skinnier shaft than the originals.  I may have to replace my heavy duty navy pair…
