I’m sure you’ve probably had a cup of Blue Bottle coffee, seen it on Instagram from your favorite blogger, or have had friends and family post it on Facebook. It’s definitely a must-stop while visiting the city and for me a symbol of San Francisco. Out of the many locations it’s served, my favorite has to be the kiosk on Linden St. in Hayes Valley. It’s quaint and cute and nestled into a small alley. I’ll typically order a simple black coffee, but on occasion will splurge on their vegan mocha. Yes, you heard it right, vegan mocha! Although I’ve never had a regular mocha, friends tell me you can’t tell the difference. I’m just happy I have the option, but the fact that it taste amazing makes it all that more special.

The coffee is strong and fresh and is a true representation of James Freeman’s vision of the company. “We roast coffee on vintage gear, put it in compostable bags, and still get it to our customers within 48 hours. I will only use the finest, most delicious and responsibly sourced beans.”

If you’re ever in the Bay Area, a taste of Blue Bottle coffee is a must! It’s an experience in itself and if you’re a coffee lover, you won’t be disappointed!
