My Top 12 Lace Dresses for Spring

Does this dress look familiar? I tried it on at Nordstrom a couple weeks ago (in this post), but didn’t buy it at the time because, well, it’s still pretty cold here and I didn’t have anywhere to wear it. But, after thinking about it, I realized I couldn’t pass up a dress that fit so well off the rack. And by fits well, I mean the torso, straps, and bust. The midi style does run long on me, so it hits at a weird length (not midi, not maxi), but I just said F it. When you own it, people don’t notice all the little details, right?

Lace dresses have never been on my must-have list, but if you like more feminine styles, they’re a great go-to for just about any occasion. Lace can be extremely girly, but paired with the right accessories you can go the complete opposite way and toughen it up (more my style). I also really love lace because it adds texture, which always looks gorgeous in photos and adds dimension to your outfit. While, I don’t typically gravitate toward spaghetti strap dresses, I figured I could layer this one with a jacket or even another top and wear it as a skirt. For those of you interested, it also comes in a baby blue color and classic black. Normally, xs runs big on me, so I would say size up, especially if you’re busty.

Since spring is all about pretty lace dresses, I’ve rounded up 12 of my favorites, all under $300!
