As anticipated, we had a very dry weekend and the sun even decided to come out every so often. We took the dogs on long walks and found ourselves basking in the sunshine. Let me tell you, when you live in the PNW, you appreciate something as simple as the sun on your face. It warms your soul, literally… wow, I sound so desperate. Let’s just say we’re ready for spring, warmer temps, and sun.

Mike had a tennis match Friday night. He won, so we celebrated with margaritas and sangria at a new-to-us restaurant called Holy Taco in Lake Oswego. Good drinks, okay food. We had to shoot photos on Saturday since it rained all last week. I’m really trying to keep my weekends free of work, but when the weather doesn’t cooperate, you gotta do what you gotta do. We did manage to stop into Thai Peacock for lunch and it was better than the last time we went. I don’t remember loving it before, but I’m glad we gave it another chance. Lots of vegan option and cute interior. Capped off the day by watching the Warriors vs OKC game. Durant’s first game back in Oklahoma with lots of hype. There was exciting drama between the teams, but the actual game and score was a doozy. Anyone else a basketball fan?

I had a super lazy Thursday and Friday, so I had to work all day Sunday (wah, wah). Sucks because the weather was awesome, so we definitely should  have been out doing something. If we weren’t swamped Monday and Tuesday, I would have just left it, but whatevs.

Finally, last Friday I posted about a new series we’re launching called Friday Conversations. Basically, I’m answering any questions you may have. It will be a fun way for you to get to know me better and share my experiences. If you have any questions about styling, shopping, relationships, beauty, etc. feel free to email me at crystalinmarie (at) gmail.com or leave a comment below.

How was your weekend?
