S H O P  T H E  P O S T :

Friday may have been the best weather we’ve seen this entire year. The sun popped out around noon and we had sunny skies for the rest of the day. I think it even reached 60 something degrees.  We took the dogs on a long walk after shooting photos downtown and even sat on a bench to take it the sunshine. The sun, it’s a wonderful thing.  We were actually supposed to have a dry weekend, but there wasn’t anything but gray skies come Saturday morning. Mike and I hung around the house tackling chores, which felt really productive, and then went on a run in the misty rain. This was our first time doing this since moving here and it wasn’t as terrible as I thought it would be. On a side note – you can workout all you want (we’ve been going for 3 months straight, woohoo), but running outside is a whole other beast (works out other body parts). I need to start incorporating runs into our workout regimen more often. We finished Saturday night off at Chuckie Pies for pizza and cocktails. If you live here, this is the cutest little spot in Lake Oswego with amazing wood fired pizza. It’s tiny, so I would recommend going at an off hour. We didn’t realize the Final Four was on, so we ended up heading to Baird’s on B to cheer on the Oregon Ducks after dinner. It was a nail biter, but North Carolina ended up winning by 1 point.

We headed downtown on Sunday for Acai bowls and shopping. Again, it was supposed to be a nice day, but the clouds rolled in and it was quite chilly. Rule of thumb – don’t eat Acai bowls when it’s cold outside, you will freeze. We stopped by the Anthropologie in the Pearl and let’s just say, we were in for a real treat. I’ve stopped in a couple times prior, but didn’t realize there was an upstairs. Boy was I missing out. Not only does the store carry all the BHLDN dresses (hello, wedding suite), but they have a petite section! I was just telling you about how much I’ve been loving Anthro petites, so you can imagine my excitement. I didn’t come home with anything, but I did try a couple things on, which will be part of my Dressing Room Diaries post later this month. If you’re visiting or live here, but haven’t been into the store, I would definitely pop in. The store is beautiful!

On another random note – I’ve been all over the place with remembering tasks and getting stuff done. I finally created a to-do list on Friday and it’s been a lifesaver. You’re probably asking why I don’t create to-do lists everyday. I used to, but for some reason got away from it. Laziness or the thought I could remember everything in my head. Yeah, not the case. I honestly need to physically see and cross of tasks, otherwise, I’m not productive. I’ve been carrying my list around with me all over the house, lol. We’ll see how much of it I will get done this week.  Does anyone know of any cute to-do list pads to purchase to print out?
