Weekend Recap 28

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was equal parts productive, fun, and relaxing. Love those kinds of weekends! With that being said, It seems as though my 2nd trimester bliss may be coming to an end (2 more weeks until I’m in my 3rd trimester). Baby D is moving like crazy and it’s been hard to stay asleep at night. The peeing every hour is a nightmare too! I’ve been falling asleep fine, but when I get up to go to the bathroom, I’m struggling to fall back asleep. I’m hoping I can just get used to everything, so I can get back to better sleep… or this is just preparing me for years to come of little sleep, lol.

Thursday I chopped off my hair. I was planning to go shorter (right above the boob), but my hair lady cut a little more than I wanted. It’s fine and I’m working with it, and I keep telling myself, it’s hair and it will grow back. Every 6 months or so, I go back and forth with keeping it long or cutting it short. I haven’t been able to stick with one. I feel like I’ll be sweating a lot with Baby D, so I may stick with short for a while… we’ll see tho.

We stopped by the Parachute Home and Briar event on Saturday. I hadn’t been to the new Parachute Home on 23rd yet and I must say,  it’s super adorable. Their bedding is amazing and now they have a collection just for babies! We met and chatted with the founder of Briar Handmade bonnets, Rachel. You guys, these bonnets are so adorable and so well made. I can’t wait to see baby D rocking hers. Went for burritos and sorbetto after, 2 of my favorites! We capped off our Saturday night by making vegan banana bread, which turned out SO good (used this recipe), taking the dogs for a walk, and watching a couple episodes of Leah Remini Scientology and the Aftermath. Um, this series is crazy! Anyone else watching?

Mike and I will be preparing for our huge closet sale, which I’m hoping will go live on Friday. I’m so excited to clear some space for Baby D and sell some gently worn items that I know need better homes. Be sure to follow @shopcrystalinscloset on Instagram, or just check the account on Friday. There’s some great stuff from every season, with sizes that range from xs-medium, petite and regular sizes, 5-6 shoe sizes, and accessories.
