What I bought From the Shopbop Sale

Love Shack Fancy dress

As promised, I’m sharing what I ordered from the Shopbop sale. I ordered a couple of things for our upcoming trip to California as well classic pieces I know I will wear a ton this spring and summer. One of my goals this year was to invest in more dresses. I know, I know you’re thinking, what has gotten into you. I realize I fall back on the same 5 pieces in the summer and I want more variety. Dresses just seem so easy too now that I’m a mom. Easy to throw on and get out the door, you know? Anyway, below I’m sharing details on each piece. Let me know if you have any questions about fit/quality.

loveshack fancy mini dress

Loveshackfancy Natasha dress xs – I’ve been a fan of Loveshackfancy dresses from afar and finally snagged one. I love the length. No hemming, nothing. The dressy is quite roomy on top, but overall the dress has a very comfortable laid back fit, so I think it works. The waist is elastic, so there’s lots of give there. The ruffles make this dress very feminine, which is not typically me, but by keeping the accessories simple and neutral, I think this could work for me. The color is more of an off-white, just an FYI.

Free People embroidered dress

Loeffler Randall petal toe ring sandals 5 – I can’t resist a nude sandal and I love how minimal these are. Nude shoes are a great way to elongate your legs and the fact that these don’t have any ankle straps make them even more flattering. I don’t know how comfortable they are yet, but I love the look and I know I will get a ton of wear out of them.

Free People embroidered dress

Free People Sydney dress xs – Another dress where the length instantly caught my eye. I order anything that looks very short on the model, lol. I look for short dresses with a length of 30″-32″ – works everytime! The skirt is lined, which is always a huge plus. The skirt also has excess material, which I don’t love, but I don’t think it’s a huge issues on the overall look. I’m such a sucker for white embroidered dresses and this one is definitely petite-friendly!

Styled with the Serpui wicker bag which is on sale too!

Free People embroidered tunic

Free People embroidered tunic

Free People Kiss Kiss tunic xs – I was initially not a fan of this tunic when I first tried it on. It runs oversized and a little big on me. But, after trying it on a second time, I changed my mind. I bought it to wear as a coverup, but thought I could wear it as a dress too. But, it’s definitely too short (even for me!). Great coverup, though. I wouldn’t normally spend $100 on a coverup especially because I don’t go to the pool often, but it’s so classic and I have a feeling I’ll be frequenting the pool a lot more now that we have Harper.

Styled with the Cult Gaia bag in size small, which is on sale as well.

Marysia Scalloped swim

Marysia Swim Palm Springs bikini top xs – I bought this 2 piece before the sale, but thought I’d share my thoughts on the brand since a lot of her swimsuits are part of the sale. I have the Santa Monica bottoms and they run TTS. They’re super flattering and comfortable. This is the Palm Springs top and it runs slightly small. I actually have to exchange my xs for small. Marysia Swim is very pricey, but so far I can say the quality and comfortable level is worth the splurge. I absolutely adore this 2 piece!

AGOLDE Parker Vintage shorts 24 – These are my favorite shorts that I wore all summer last year, but I actually reordered them in my normal size. I have the 25 and these are the 24. High waisted, not too short, and so comfortable. I highly recommend these!

APL leopard sneakers

APL leopard sneakers

APL Phantom sneakers 5 – These are my first pair of APL sneakers. Sadly, the size 5 runs a little small , so I have to exchange them for the 5.5. I can’t comment on the comfort level just yet, but so far I’m obsessed! The leopard is so chic!

Styled with the Koral Lustrous leggings, which are also on sale.
