Woodedn Shoe Tulip Farm
We loved visiting the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm last year, so we headed back this year to snap some photos. We knew there would be less flowers this time around due to our extreme winter that’s been lingering into spring, but thankfully there were some bulbs out in full force, still looking as beautiful as can be. For those of you who haven’t been to the Tulip Festival, there’s a ton of fun activities for kids, so you can definitely make it a family affair (and dog friendly).

Despite the gray skies, the weather was quite mild. I opted for this Free People babydoll dress from Nordstrom that I’ve been raving about. It’s nice and petite-friendly and I love the embroidered details. The top of the dress is cut very narrow (along the arms), so I wore this lace bralette to keep the girls in and to help from revealing too much. This dress is also great for festival season. It’s ethereal yet edgy and can be worn so many different ways – with a leather or utility jacket, sweater, ankle booties, and cowboy boots. For those of you interested, it runs TTS and comes in a pale blue color as well. It does run slightly sheer, although I would say the ruffle skirt adds a couple extra layers, so I didn’t have any issues.
Be sure to check out all my spring favorites from Free People and Nordstrom in this post from last week.
