With our trip to Hawaii in less than two months, I’ve officially been in workout mode. As mentioned in this post, I was finding it hard to develop a routine that worked for my busy schedule. I’m happy to report I’ve finally found some consistency and the best part, it’s with Mike! I cannot say this enough, working out with a partner makes actually getting there so much easier. It’s also nice that Mike pushes me to work harder than I ever would on the solo tip. Track days have never been so fun and we’re getting in some much needed quality time.

You know what also helps get my butt in motion, new workout gear! Two things to note about what I’m wearing above. All my life I was a bit of brand snob when it came to workout shoes. I never ever branched out. Thankfully, I was introduced to these adidas Energy Boost 2.0 running shoes a few months back and they’re fantastic. They fit TTS (these are a size 5), are incredibly comfortable, breathable, lightweight, and have a good looking shape to them. I always get weirded out by some trainers with funky toe shapes or bulkiness. I could not recommend these more. I’m also really excited about the sequencial tee for those cooler days. It’s thicker than a normal tee, really warm and soft, but made with moisture-wicking material. I already know I’ll be stocking up on these as they’re perfect for those brisk morning runs. I don’t mind the fun color too!

The countdown to Hawaii has officially begun! Pump up the workouts and bring on the bathing suit shopping (eeek!).
