10 Old Pieces I’m Excited to Re-Wear this Spring

10 old items to wear now

Over the last couple of years I’ve made it a point to really only buy and keep classic pieces in my closet. It’s been years since I’ve made shopping part of my career and you definitely learn a lot about your shopping habits. When I invest and spend more money on classic pieces, I tend to keep them in my closet A LOT longer than if I buy random, trendy pieces or if I decide to save on something so I can buy more. The bottom line, fewer better items always win for me. I get asked a lot to do a post about investment pieces and I will do a dedicated post soon, but in the meantime, this post is pretty telling. Most of this post consist of accessories and shoes – this is where I invest. Accessories have proven to be the most versatile and have the biggest impact on an outfit. Shoes, bags, and accessories are where I would say invest (coats and jeans are also great investment pieces).

I’m only sharing 10 old pieces in my closet that I’m excited to wear this spring, but there’s actually a ton more. Some others that come to mind – AGOLDE Sophie jeans, Nicholas Kirkwood mules, YSL sandals, Rag & Bone straight jeans, Madewell coatigan, AG white tee, and more. Now that I think about it, I could easily use said items above and below as my spring/summer uniform… although I’m excited to wear some recent purchases… which I’m hoping will be in this post next year!
