I mentioned last week how we’ve had exceptional fall weather. The temps have dropped, but the sun has been out in full swing and everything around us has been so beautiful. Just imagine these yellow leaves around every corner, aka, the PNW in all it’s glory. With the leaves falling and temps still bearable, last week was the perfect excuse to get out and explore in my new Kamik SiennaF boots. These insulated and waterproof boots are quintessential for the wet climate and unpredictable snow we have in Oregon. They’re comfortable and incredibly warm. They do run a half size small, so I would size up, especially if you’re thinking of wearing thick socks with them.
One of the many reasons I love working with Zappos (um hello, fast shipping and returns, and 365 return policy) is being introduced to new brands. I’m still a novice when it comes to stylish yet functional footwear, so I’m always on the lookout for new-to-me brands. Kamik is all about functional and fashion-forward boots. They believe that good quality shoes empower people to #StepOutside in comfort and style, in any kind of weather. I must admit, having the right gear for months and months of rain is an absolute MUST. People always ask me how we live in a place that rains so much. My answer – we get fall weather that looks like this (can’t be beat!) AND having the right gear makes all the difference. If you live somewhere or are traveling somewhere where you need all-weather boots, I would highly recommend checking out Kamik. They have a ton of cute options for women, men, and kids.
