J.Crew Pump Review

As I’ve mentioned probably a 100 times, the right size shoes are the hardest thing for me to find. I’ve been buying pumps too big for me and using shoe inserts, no joke, all my life (such a pain). I guess I’d say my feet are a small size 5 and most brands in a reasonable price range are a tad too big. I finally bought a pair of J.Crew pumps and although the description says to size up a half size because of the narrow pointed toe, I went with my true size. Normally, when I hear something is too small or too short, it means I may be in luck (short girl problems).

Etta pump in calf hair (3 ¾  ” heel): The print is absolutely beautiful and the chunky heel really makes these super comfortable and sturdy. I find this style works better with boyfriend jeans versus pointed pumps.

Everly pump in deep violet ( 3 ½ ” heel): These are extremely lightweight and beautifully made. The toe is extremely narrow.

Sasha suede pump with metallic toe (4″ heel): The highest heel of the three, but not bad on the feet or the arches. The black and gold combo is edgy, but the style make these so classic.

First off, J.Crew shoes in general are beautifully made and the styles are so classic and timeless (obsessed with the 3 ½ inch heel on the Everly). As for size, I would definitely say they run a half to a full size small. They are a bit snug for my right foot, but I decided to stick to size 5 because I know the leather will stretch. The fact that the shoe fits like a glove without shoe inserts is so major. And in true Crystalin fashion, when something fits, I buy one in every color. Every style above fits pretty much exactly the same (all a half to a full size small) and all are extremely easy to walk in and comfortable as long as you’re not on your feet all day. My only gripe, these all have padding in the soles, but they could use a little more.

I can officially say my hunt for pumps that fit these small feet is finally over! I already have my eye on the fresh strawberry color … who said you couldn’t have suede pointed pumps in every color? =)

If you have a pair of J.Crew pumps I’d love to hear your thoughts/review.
