Kickin’ It

{Aritzia tee, BB Dakota Jasper jacket (sold out but similar), AG leggings, Adidas Dragon sneakers, Tory Burch Robinson satchel (middy version), Brooklyn Designs infinity necklace c/o}

Okay, I’m hooked! I wasn’t into the sneaker trend last year and I probably will never wear a high top or wedge, but a pair of  good ole classic/vintage flat sneakers, yup, I’m obsessed! You can’t beat the comfort level and I just love the unexpected factor they bring to an outfit. Casual meets menswear meets sporty… I like it! I already have my eye on a pair of Nike Cortez. I told this to Mike and he laughed in my face, ‘those are so 1990’s.’ – ha!

Who else has tried the sneaker trend?

    First off, love that jacket! Secondly, I feel the same, I’m 100% sure I would never wear the wedge sneaker, but loving my new nikes and I love those adidas ;)

    yessss….those are “da bomb.” Hey, if we’re going ’90s here, we may as well start incorporating old school lingo too. I mean…did you watch the AMAs??? TLC?? R.Kelly?? WHAT?
    Love the look and styling! =)

      hahaha, yes i watched the AMAs! I didn’t mind the R kelly Lady Gaga thing, but I was so confused with the TLC performance. I so didn’t like the look-a-like left eye and the performance was just so 90’s… old and blah.

    Love the sneakers! Can you tell me what size you purchased and how the kid sizes run? I’m a women’s 5M and thought about going with the 3.5. Thanks!

      Thank you! I’m normally a small size 5 and ordered 3.5 big kids. If I were to wear them to workout, I would say they are a bit too small. But since I’m only wearing them casually, the fit is fine. I would probably go 4 next time.

    Okay, I agree with you 100%. Most of the time I just don’t think it works, but you nailed it! I think you’re one of the only people I’ve seen pull it off. It’s perfect and those sneakers are so cute. You’re my sneaker muse. ;)
