I haven’t done one of these posts in a long time. I was thinking of moving away from my Weekend Recap posts, but after spending some time away, I miss them! So, I’m going to keep the series going, but rename it Life Lately. Anyways, has anyone else felt super busy these last couple of weeks? We returned home from Hawaii to another friend’s wedding, then it was my birthday, followed by Thanksgiving. In the midst of all of that you have friends gathering and family in town. And then all of a sudden it’s December and you have to start the Christmas shopping and holiday decor. Can a sister get a break over here? We did tackle some important things this past weekend — We finally got a tree and the apt. looking all holiday ready and we started shopping for our engagement photos (which are happening this month). I have outfit ideas in my head, I just have to find the pieces to make it work.

Between Christmas, New Years Eve, family in town, and all the holiday parties, the busy doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon. While, I’m okay with it all, I just hope I can soak it all up, be in the moment, and enjoy this magical time of year.
