Living Room Refresh with The Home Depot

Many people like to make New Year resolutions and while I’m all for that, I like to start the new year off with a clean and organized house. Everyone that’s visiting heads home, the Christmas decor comes down, and you’re just ready to tackle the new year. It’s the perfect time to tidy up and refresh the home.

We teamed up with The Home Depot to refresh and renew our living room space. Mike thinks I go a little overboard with the blankets and pillows on the couch, so I thought a cute basket would help with organization, as well as keeping the space looking neat. I also refreshed the space with a couple new throw blankets and pillows. I love the way the pale pink blanket brightens up the space and adds the perfect feminine touch. All the pillows and blankets in this corner make it hard to get any work done – I just want to lounge in this space all day. Tell me, what do you do to refresh your space in the new year?
