As I’m sure you’re aware by now, I have an obsession with sneakers. Nikes are actually my weakness. I spot a new pair every other month and put it on my wishlist. Mike is just obsessed with Nike sneakers, but he’s more practical about it, lol. There’s something about the ease of sneakers – so comfortable and I love the way they add an unexpected element to an outfit.

Before Harper I would typically only wear sneakers with athleisure pieces or if I was going to workout. Now that I’m a mom and comfort is EVERYTHING, I’m making an effort to get out of my comfort zone when it comes to styling and pair my sneakers with more everyday looks. I’ve always loved seeing this trend in street style photos, but never thought I could pull it off because of my height. These days, I’m saying screw it and really trying to embrace it all (my short legs included). These Nike Epic React Flyknit sneakers are the perfect example. The Light Cream is actually a new color release and the perfect neutral to wear with casual wear. They’re comfortable, functional, and stylish – which means I’ll be wearing them for everyday looks as well as my workouts. I actually just started incorporating runs back into my workout routine, so I’ll be sure to let you know how they feel, etc.
