I’m so excited to share and style 2 petite-friendly ponchos I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I talked about it briefly in my Try-On’s post, but let’s just say I had searched high and low for a poncho that wasn’t overwhelming for several years with no luck. While one is considered a pullover, it can easily be worn as a poncho and both come in petite sizes and multiple colors. Both will work seamlessly with my growing belly and I love that they’re casual in neutral colors (versatility!).

The Gibson funnel neck poncho was more of a recent purchase. I stumbled upon it while looking for restocks and immediately added it to my cart. I’m wearing a petite xxs and it fits true to petite sizing! Gibson has the softest sweaters, so I knew I would love this one. It’s comfortable, warm, and moves nicely. The petite xxs does run a little short, so you may either want to size up or go with regular sizing. I know one of the biggest criteria for a good poncho, to cover all your lady parts, so you can wear it with leggings. This one is one the verge for me, but still works. I love the speckled gray and it’s super casual vibes. I know I’ll be wearing this a ton come fall and winter. The only downfall, the faux pockets. This poncho would have been absolute perfection if the pockets were functional!
I ordered the Caslon pullover with little expectations. This was part of one of my first orders, so I kinda added anything and everything petite-friendly to my cart before things started to sell out. Once it arrived, I realized it was very poncho-like. It’s fleece material is a little odd and the black collects lint (wah, wah), but I just love how cozy it is. You can almost say it’s a fleece tunic. Super versatile, comfy, petite-friendly (in an oversized way), and will work perfectly for my growing bump come fall and winter. You can dress it up, down, and even lounge around it around the house. Small sizes have sold out in the neutral colors, but keep checking back on this one. I have a feeling it will get restocked.
Both ponchos will without a doubt be on major repeat once the weather cools down. They’re just so easy to wear and incredibly cozy. I love finding pieces like these that will not only expand your wardrobe, but will get a ton of wear from a day-to-day basis. Talk about a good price per wear!
