Recent Purchases + Restocks

recent purchases and restocks 1

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Honestly, I haven’t been able to distinguish the days. I couldn’t tell you if it’s the weekday or weekend, lol.  We’re over here still trying to figure out this whole newborn life, so things are a little hectic. I’m also trying to slowly get back into some sort of work routine, too, which has been tough. I keep telling myself, it will all come slowly but surely, don’t stress yourself out over it. While it’s been tough making time to blog, I will say, it’s kept me sane. It’s nice to have something you love to do to look forward to everyday, you know?

Postpartum life has also been a bit rough. I never in a million years thought I would end up getting a C-Section (doesn’t it always work out like that?) and getting back to my everyday has been a lot tougher than I anticipated. I’m still super sore and can’t do a lot. I can’t wear jeans yet because the incision area is super tender. And then there’s my engorged boobs. Those are getting better, but damn! Although I haven’t been able to get back into all my old clothes (yet), I have been perusing the internet and even shopping a bit (another thing keeping me sane). I’m sharing some recent purchases along with a few favorites that have been restocked for you guys below.

Topshop check coat

Topshop Check Petite Coat – When I wore this coat on the blog it was sold out, so I wanted to share it now because I just saw it stocked in several sizes. Check out this post to see how I styled it. It’s still one of my favorite pieces in my closet. It’s a nice change of pace from all my solid neutrals in my closet. Topshop also came out with another check coat in petite sizes in case anyone is still in the market. For reference, I’m wearing a petite 0.

Sperry saltwater rain boots

Sperry Saltwater Rain Boots – These are one of my favorite recent purchases. I needed something to wear this winter while walking the dogs and going for walks with Harper. I was looking for a rain boot that was easy to slip on, comfortable, and warm and these exceeded my expectations. The side zipper makes them easy to get on and off and there’s fleece lining inside, making them super warm.  If you’re in the market for a short rain boot, I would highly recommend checking these out.

Loft sherpa coat

Loft Sherpa Coat – Although I already have a cream sherpa coat, I snagged this one last week on super sale. It’s a little more casual and easy to wear than my other one from Anthropologie (not has big). It’s fully lined and the petite xxs fits like a glove. I don’t know how warm it is as I’ve yet to wear it outside, but I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this one a lot. It’s so easy to throw on and the cream color makes it super versatile.

BP eyelet top

BP. Eyelet Top – I live in eyelet in the spring and summer, so anytime I see a top in my size, I snag it pretty much any time of year. This one is super cute and affordable. I normally wear an xxs in BP, but with these breastfeeding boobs over here, I ended up ordering an xs.

Madewell gemma mules

Madewell Gemma Mules – These sold out real fast last time they were available. I had to hunt down a pair of size 5 (remember that?). I’m so happy they brought these back for spring because many of you loved them, but weren’t able to get your hands on a pair. These are super classic and the color is super versatile. If you missed, go get them now because I have a feeling they will sell out again. They run TTS and are super comfortable.

Alo funnel neck sweatshirt

Alo Funnel neck Sweatshirt – I’ve been on a sweatshirt kick lately. I think it has a lot to do with where I’m at in my life, lol. Home a lot and just trying to recover. It’s been tough mentally, but thankfully, there’s cute loungewear / athleisure that’s getting me through. I’m all about a funnel neck sweatshirt and this one looks super comfy (and has great reviews!). I ordered the gray in an xs.

Pebbled faux leather jacket 1

UO Pebbled Faux Leather Moto Jacket – You all know how much I love my pebbled Zara leather jacket. I’ve had it for years and still wear it all the time. I recently found this one from Urban Outfitters that’s very similar. In case you’re in the market for a leather jacket, I would definitely check this one out!

Zella joggers

Zella Crop Joggers – I’ve been on a major search for the perfect joggers. I have a washed gray pair, which I posted about in December, but these also caught my eye. I mainly ordered them because I can never pass up a pair of pants that have my perfect inseam, 24”. I’m crossing my fingers these work. That postpartum (C-Section) life is real and I need all the comfies I can get.

Madewell gemma mules in cream

Madewell Gemma Mules in White – Since I love the tan leather ones so much, I obviously had to get the white ones. White shoes are super on trend for spring and summer and these are beautiful. I can’t wait to wear these with jeans and denim cut offs.

Goldengoose sneakers

Golden Goose Deluxe Superstar Sneakers – In honor of my new role as a mother, I splurged on a pair of Golden Goose sneakers. I actually ended up getting these on sale, but still, $200+ for sneakers is a lot. The good news, they’re super comfortable and they’re just easy to throw on with just about anything. I haven’t been able to wear them a ton yet because it’s been freezing and I haven’t been out of the house that much. I’m excited to wear these once the weather warms up a bit with jeans, leggings, and denim shorts! In case you’re in the market for cute white sneakers, but don’t want to spend $$$, there’s these, or these that are also super cute.

Banana Republic trench coat 1

Banana Republic Trench Coat – It looks like they brought back my favorite trench coat! The new version is actually water-resistant, which is an added bonus. My trench fits extremely well, which is why I love it so much. Because it’s so tailored, it looks more expensive that it is. For reference, I own a petite xxs. You can see me wear it here.
