Recent Spring Purchases

Sol Angeles Dream pullover

Sol Angeles sweatshirt small, Madewell cropped flare jeans 23 (old, similar), Loewe tote medium, Hermes sandals 35 (similar), Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses

I share so much on Instagram, Stories and the LTK app that I forget to share it here on the blog (um hello!). I recently bought a few things for spring that I’m super pumped about, so I wanted to share them with you. I normally order a ton of things I’ve been eyeing and nearly 90% gets returned because I either don’t like it, it doesn’t fit, or I realize I don’t need it. But this time, I liked nearly everything – this NEVER happens! These outfits make me so excited for warmer weather – hurry up Portland!

Sol Angeles sweatshirt xs – I’ve been a sweatshirt person my whole life. I could literally wear a hoodie or pullover everyday, especially now that I’m a mom and I just want comfort and ease. As if I needed another gray pullover, but the second I saw this one, I had to have it! It just looked so cozy and I love the simple graphic. Best part, it’s so cozy – like so soft and perfectly oversized. I will live in this at home and even out running around with Harper.

Nobody cropped wide legged black jeans

Madewell top xs (sized up 1 size), Nobody Denim 24 (DIY Hem), St. Agni mules 35, Serpui bag

Madewell button-front sweater xs – I’m a big fan of button-front sweaters and this one is so perfect for spring. It’s more fitted, so I went up 1 size. The neckline is not too low, which I love. Honestly, this is just such a great basic to be tucked into cropped jeans.

Nobody Denim wide legged jeans 24 – I took a chance on these and I’m so happy I did because I’m obsessed! They’re really high-waisted, which I LOVE. I cut the hems and shared it in this post here. They attract some lint (as all white jeans do), but not as bad as some other jeans I have and definitely tolerable. Thick, stretchy, and super comfortable.

St. Agni mules 35 – These mules have been on my wishlist since last spring. I waited and waited because they’re quite pricey, but decided to pull the trigger. If something still catches my eye a year later, I would say they’re worth it. When I pulled them out of the box, they looked big, but I think the pointed toe is deceiving. When I put them on, they fit really well. They aren’t overly comfortable right now, but since they’re leather, I have a feeling they take some breaking in. I will keep you posted on comfort level once I wear them more.

Madwell kimono

AG tee xs, Madewell kimono xxs, Rag & Bone cropped flare jeans 24 (DIY hem), Hermes sandals 35 (similar), Staud bag, Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses

Madewell Kimono xxs -I was initially thinking this kimono would be cute worn tied with cropped flare or skinny jeans, but I actually love it open. It’s very boxy, but works, at least on my petite frame. I love the idea of collecting classic pieces in different and fun silhouettes and this kimono is just that. A great layer that’s different from a cardigan or a jacket.

Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses – These sunglasses have been on my wishlist since last year and I’m so glad I pulled the trigger because I’m obsessed! I was only buying metal sunglasses for the longest time, but my Quay After Hours sunglasses kinda changed my mind. I used to wear oversized sunglasses when I was younger and looking back, I hated the way they looked on me. But, my style has completely changed, I’m digging this style so much. I love the tortoise color for spring and summer, too!

J.Crew oversized striped top

J.Crew stripe top xxs, Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses, Hermes sandals 35 (similar), Rag & Bone cropped flare jeans 24 (DIY hem), Staud bag

J.Crew Stripe Top xxs – I know I wear stripes A LOT once the weather warms up, so I wanted to stock up on some before everything sells out. I was hesitant to buy this top because it looks so thick online. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it’s thick, but I love the fit. It’s oversized and boxy, but it drapes so nicely. The arms are tailored, which makes this style flattering. I think once I wash and dry it, I will be perfect. If you’re thinking about buying it, I would size down at least one size.

J.Crew stripe top xxxs, Loewe tote medium, Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses, Hermes sandals 35 (similar), Rag & Bone cropped flare jeans 24 (DIY hem)

J.Crew Stripe Top xxs – And because I loved this top in the classic navy and white color, I had to get the red, white, and blue. This top is so quintessential summer to me. I love the all American vibes and can’t wait to wear it with shorts and jeans.

Loewe Tote Medium – I wanted to be mindful of my shoe and bag purchases this year. I used to buy a lot of cute inexpensive bags and shoes during the summer only to wear a couple. In the last year or so, I decided to make investment purchases in my accessories, buy less, and really wear and love them. Instead of buying a handful of summer bags that I will end up not using over the years or selling, I bought this classic Loewe raffia tote and I love it. The tan leather details pair so well with my neutral wardrobe and the color matches my Hermes sandals perfectly. The medium is a great size to throw all my crap including a few of Harper’s things. My only complaint – the straps don’t fit over my shoulders. I wish there was another hole to move the straps up a little.

Madewell denim shirt jacket

Madewell denim shirt jacket xxs, Madewell boyfriend stripe tee xxs, Madewell cropped flare jeans 23 (old, similar), Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses, Hermes sandals 35 (similar), Staud bag

Madewell Denim Shirt Jacket xxs – I honestly didn’t expect this to fit. Even the xxs at Madewell tends to run large especially when it comes to outerwear. But, I love this shirt jacket. I have always wanted a shirt/jacket hybrid and this is just that. It runs slightly oversized, but in the best way possible. This is a great layer for spring and summer.

Michael Stars sweater xs, AGOLDE shorts 24, Bembien tote, St. Agni mules 35, Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses

Michael Stars sweater xs – I might have a problem collecting white sweaters. But, I can’t get enough, they’re so good! I know I will live in this sweater all spring and summer. The waffle texture is the perfect detail and I love the oversized fit.

Abercrombie & Fitch sweater

Abercrombie & Fitch top xs (could have gone down to the xxs), Abercrombie & Fitch jeans 24 petite, Gucci mules 35, Simon Miller Bonsai bag

Abercrombie & Fitch top xs – This top is so soft and comfortable. I wasn’t sure how it would fit, so I didn’t get the xxs, but it does run oversized, so I could have easily gone with the xxs. It’s a little bit cropped but you can easily tuck it into high-waisted jeans or shorts. Another great basic and just so darn comfortable.

Abercrombie & Fitch jeans 24 short – These jeans are actually very similar to the GRLFRND Karolina jeans, but more affordable. The 24 petite (my normal size) runs slightly tight, but I think they will stretch (so not going to size up) after some wear. The length hits right at the ankle, so I will need to the cut the hems a bit for a cropped fit. If you’re 5’2′, these will fit cropped on your without cutting. These have a mom style fit (not straight leg) and they’re a true high-rise.

Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses

Abercrombie & Fitch top xs (runs short), AGOLDE shorts 24, Loewe tote medium, Anine Bing Larchmont sunglasses

Abercrombie & Fitch top xs – I don’t think I’m going to keep this top, but it’s super adorable. I don’t do really cropped tops and this one is pretty short. I can barely tuck it into my high-rise shorts. But, it’s really cute and affordable. The embroidery is nice for warm weather and the puff sleeves are a nice detail.
