Spring Finds from Banana Republic

Banana Republic spring favorites

We are just under a month away from the first day of spring and I could not be more excited. I laugh as I write this because spring may or may not show up here. Oregon tends to either skip spring all together or we get a couple weeks. It’s been a torturous winter, so I’m sending all the positive vibes to the weather Gods. Whether or not we get spring weather, my mindset and shopping has been geared toward all things light and airy, white, and eyelet lately. I’ve started building out my spring wardrobe and I’m excited to share my favorite finds from Banana Republic.

Banana Republic is one of my go-to places for petites and I’m always checking their new arrivals, especially when we’re entering a new season. They have so many great spring pieces out right now – I’m gravitating toward all things white (big surprise, lol). White jeans are always a hot topic this time of year and I’m happy to report, the high-rise wide leg jeans are awesome! They’re thick and not see-through, but still comfortable and easy to wear. BR bottoms tend to run a little long on me (I’m only 5ft), so I ended up cutting the hems on these. Other than the length, these fit really well. For those of you with short torsos, these don’t have a super high-rise, so they could definitely work for you. I should also mention the belt is detachable. The wide leg makes them super versatile. You can dress them up or down and even wear these to the office (if denim is allowed).

The Merino-Blend Center-Seam Sweater is one of my favorite spring finds so far. I absolutely love this sweater and the color combo. It works perfectly in my neutral wardrobe and the fit is nice. I’ve been wearing it with a tee under and haven’t had any issues with it being itchy. I also want to talk about the Vegan Suede Moto Jacket. This jacket is so pretty and the gray color is perfect for spring. If you’re petite and looking for a moto jacket, this is a great option. The fit is awesome and I love that you can dress it up or down. Great quality and it’s fully lined.

I also want to mention, my go-to white wide legged cropped jeans are back in-stock. I got mine last year and have been wearing them ever since. They run long me, so I ended up cutting the hems. With that said, I would still recommend them. Some other pieces I have my eye on – these shorts, this dress, and these pumps.
