Yes, it’s this jacket and these booties again. I can’t help it, they’ve been on repeat since they landed in my closet. I know I’ve raved about said items a whole lot recently, but today I want to discuss my tan tote. I’ve had this Cuyana short tote for probably 2 years now. It’s one of my favorite, go-to, most functional bags I own and I’d highly recommend everyone own a similar version. It’s on the large side, but really comes in handy when you need to shove a bunch of crap in your bag and run out door. It’s also the most classic and versatile shade of tan. It really goes with everything in my closet.

I get a ton of emails asking whether I recommend the Cuyana, Madewell, or J.Crew tote and say the same thing every time. If you’re looking for something slouchy go with Cuyana. If you’re looking for something more structured and stiff, go with Madewell. And if you’re looking for something in between, go with J.Crew. While I love my short tote from Cuyana, I’d probably go with the Downing Tote from J.Crew if I had to do it all over again.
