The End of Summer

{J.Crew chambray, Forever 21 dolphin shorts, vintage Coach shoulder bag, Zara sandals, Brooklyn Designs “Mason” necklace c/o}

As much as I’m excited about everything that comes along with fall, Northern California isn’t quite ready for the change. Temps will reach the low 90’s this weekend, which means no jeans, jackets, or scarves for this girl. Although my anticipation for cooler weather is at an all time high, I’ll have to suck it up and throw on another easy breezy dress and my go-to denim cut offs for the next couple of weeks. Rather than sulking, I decided to try and embrace this time as much as possible by doing my best to wear as many summer favorites as I can before I’ll have to tuck them away. The other great thing about this in-between-seasons-thing, all the end of summer sales. I know we’re all stocking up on fall favorites, but if you can find timeless summer pieces that you know you’ll wear forever, this is a great time for you. I recently picked up this dress for 50% off and these sandals were a major steal! As much as I know both pieces won’t get a ton of wear this year, I know they’ll be staples for summers to come.

Will you be taking advantage of all the summer sales or is your mind set on fall favorites?

    I’m never quite ready for any changes since I am always commenting on how fast time is flying and how I’m never aware until it gets here! Although SF is just hitting its peak with its “warmer weather” I am eager for the change of the season for the change in clothes. I’m not sure how much end of season deals I’ll snag just yet since I have my eyes set on so much right now haha

    We’re expecting a long Summer here in the south so I definitely feel your pain girl. It’s taking everything that I have not to throw on a chunky sweater! Love your relaxed look Crystalin, you always rock that chambray shirt so well.

    I feel you sister. I’m in central California and I wish it was turning into fall weather here. It’s been nearly 100 degrees this whole week with no foreseeable cool-down. I do love this outfit though! Sporty chic

    I’m so jealous! It’s already cooled down quite a bit in NYC – I’m wearing a pencil skirt and chambray today and it was cold! Not ready for summer to end at all. Love those shorts!
