The Perfect Basics

Aritzia tee // Gap sweater // Current Elliott jeans // Halogen flats // Tory Burch Robinson satchel (middy version) // Heart Wired Designs midi rings // David Yurman ring

Photos by Christine Sargologos

These are hands down my favorite photos Christine has taken thus far! The outfit pretty much sums up my life (casual, easy, and laid back) and it’s a look I lean on more often times than I should admit. Anytime there’s jeans and a t-shirt involved, I’m a happy girl. And then throw on some cute flats to run around in and life is good. Don’t get me started on this color palette too! So simple, so basic, yet so perfect.

I’ve been obsessing over comfy soft white tees lately. If you have any favorite brands or styles you can’t live without, I’d love to hear about them in the comments.

love this laid back style too. I’ve also been fawning over soft, comfy t-shirts lately. As easy as they appear, finding a good fitting one with “perfect” slouch and fit is actually challenging! haha. I’ve been eyeing Everlane lately…have you tried?

Ahh I’m having major hair envy right now!

You look gorgeous in these photos. I’m also the type of person who feels most comfortable in stylish, but more casual outfits. I love getting dressed up, but that’s not my “usual” look.

Hello, I am new to your blog so I must say thank you. I recently started working on my closet. 35 items went to consignment and now I have more room for ???? Well, thanks to you I have some direction. I recently went on a hunt for the perfect white t for me. I tried Target, TJ Maxx, Gap, and some other places in the mall (limited because I live in Kansas). I was so frustrated with length, see through materials and quality. Then, I went to CJ Banks which I must say I consider a 50+ store. I fell in love with their layering t. Such nice quality, and the choices on neckline and sleeve length was great. I would recommend their layering t.

    Great outfit!

Question – Do you have the current TB Middy satchel? In your pictures, it looks bigger than 8×11 as stated on the TB site. Thanks for your help! Love your blog!

Thank you! No, I have the large version that is no longer being made. I found it on ebay…. I link to middy because it’s the same silhouette.
