I wouldn’t normally wear a printed dress let alone at this length. I’m pretty set in my neutral ways and don’t normally stray from them, but for some reason this dress really caught my eye. I think it’s a combination of the print, the length, the ease, and flowiness. It’s got a masculine print, but a feminine silhouette. Can I also fill you in on a little secret, I’ve never worn a midi dress or skirt… in my life. Considering a short gals life is dedicated to knowing proportions, midi styles have never been a good choice for me. Knowing this, I don’t even bat an eye at them when shopping. Well, I can say that no more. While I don’t necessarily think the midi is my jam, I will say this dress makes me feel chic. There’s something about the combination of the proportion of the dress, the leather jacket, and the hat that make me feel those cool vibes.

I may not be stocking up on midi dresses anytime soon, but I am glad I took a stab at the longer length. It not only gives me more confidence that I can pull it off, but it helps show all you other petite folks out there, it can me done.
