Walmart Baby Registry – Our Newborn Essentials

Walmart Registry Must Have Newborn Essentials

I wrote about our newborn essentials back when Harper was born, but it wasn’t as comprehensive of a list as the one I’m sharing today. It’s almost like you have to go through it, have perspective, and then share your essentials because at the time you’re in such a haze and life in general is a blur, it’s hard to remember everything. We used every single product (or something similar) above and I would use them all again if and when we have baby number 2. They’re absolute essentials and I would 1000% recommend putting these items on your baby registry for all expecting moms. Check out more must-have registry items here.

Green Sprouts Muslin Bibs – Hands down our favorite bibs from the newborn stage until Harper outgrew these. They’re simple in design and hold up really well.

Honest Diapers – We’ve been using Honest diapers from the get-go. Love that they’re gentle on Harper’s skin and void of any harsh chemicals.

Medela Breast Pump – We used a hospital grade breast pump from Medela and I LOVED it. I did end up getting small portable one when I traveled. Couldn’t have survived without this.

Earth Mama Diaper Balm – This is the only diaper balm we’ve used on Harper. It’s clean of any harsh ingredients, it smells divine, and we haven’t had any diaper rash issues.

Medela Nipple Guard – I highly recommend a nipple guard for any new moms struggling with breast feeding. This really does work miracles and will help with sore or cracking nipples. I used this because one of my nipples was inverted.

Munchkin Wipe Warmer – I didn’t think I needed one of these until we brought Harper home. It was the middle of winter and it was freezing. There was no way I was going to put a cold wipe on her bum for every diaper change. With that being said, I don’t think you’ll need it in the middle of summer.

Green Sprouts Burp Cloths – Hands down our favorite burp cloths. And in the newborn stage, you need all the burp cloths, lol. These fit so well on your shoulder and they’re a really good size.

Changing Table Liners – Another absolute must-have! These help so much with accidents (pee or poo). Rather than having to change your entire changing table cover, you simple change the liner. Makes things a lot easier.

NUK Breast Milk Storage Bags – We stored all our pumped breast milk in these. We didn’t have any leak issues.

Wooden Pacifier Clip – We have 2 similar ones and we still use them to this day. They double as a teether as well.

Natural Pacifier – A natural pacifier was the route we wanted to go and there are several brands out there. Harper never had any issues not taking this pacifier.

Infant Optics Baby Monitor – Another product we’re still using to this day. A good for the price monitor and it’s held up well.

Muslin Swaddles – These were all we used early on. They’re breathable and safe.

Avent Glass Bottles – These were the bottles we used and loved them. Love that you’re able to change the nipple based on how much and how easy you want the milk to come out.

Snoo Bassinet – We loved our SNOO bassinet. Harper slept really well in it.

Snuggle Me Organic  – We used this a ton when Harper was a newborn. I love how cozy it is and easy it is to move around the house.

Fridababy Big Bundle of Joy – This is such a great bundle! The Windi was a huge life saver a couple of times (relieves gas) when Harper was young. I would suggest all moms carrying one of these around in your diaper bag. You just never know when you’ll need it.

Haakaa Manual Breast Pump – One of the BEST inventions for nursing mamas. This device is so awesome, easy to use, and portable. It really helps with all the extra milk production in the early stages.  You can even catch the let down in your other breast when baby is nursing.

Nursing Pillow – This has been my best friend up until Harper’s 18th month mark. We used this for every nursing session and there have been A LOT. I know a lot of smaller mamas weren’t able to use a nursing pillow, but we did the football hold and it worked for us.

Soundbub By WavHello Portable Sound Machine – We were gifted this early on when we had Harper and we’ve been using it ever since. I love that it’s small, so it’s easy to travel with. When Harper was small, we would bring it along with us and attach it to her carseat. Now, it’s stationed in her room and we use it for every nap and bedtime.
