We kept things pretty low key this past weekend prepping Mike for a work trip to LA this week. We made no plans whatsoever and it felt nice to just go with the flow. I ran errands, worked out, pinned, broke in my new Rib & Hull heirloom tote, and even snuck in a work meeting. I have a crazy busy week ahead, so the 10 hours of sleep over the past couple of days felt amazing!

How was your weekend?

I’ve seen your Cuyana tote on your arm very often and this Rib & Hull Heirloom tote looks just as nice! Do you have a preference? (I’m on a perfect brown leather tote hunt)…:)

Hmmmm…. I like the the Rib & Hull shape better, but the Cuyana one is gorgeous too! The r&h is a little more structured and the cuyana one is softer and a little bit more flexible. I hope that helps :)

I think so? It’s now between these two after considering the Madewell Transport Tote and Baggu Oversized Tote. I don’t know how I’ll ever decide! :)

Honestly, I would say go with the shape you like better. Also, the straps are longer and softer on the shoulder with the Cuyana tote. The R&B tote is more like handles. The leather is also smoother on the C tote.

Thank you – this helps. I think I’m going for the Cuyana…the short one though. Is yours short or tall? From most of the images I’ve googled, the tall seems to be more popular but I’m just too short to own the north/south look!

Mine is the short version. Def way too short for the tall :)
