Weekend Wear

{Gap tee, J.Crew schoolboy blazer, Paper Denim & Cloth DIY shorts, Gap leopard ballet flats, Foley & Corinna mid city tote, 80’s Purple sunglasses (similar), Brooklyn Designs Mason necklace c/o}

I pretty much lived in these denim shorts all weekend. As mentioned yesterday, we had some incredible weather over the last couple of days and as much as my mind is set on fall, I wasn’t mad at it one bit. Although my legs are back to being a nice shade of white, I pulled out my most comfiest denim shorts for a day full of errands, lunch, and puppy time.

In shoes new, does anyone else get a ton of blisters when they transition from sandals all summer to flats in the fall? It’s like they all need to be broken in again… or is it just me? I bought these Gap leopard flats after hearing a couple good reviews on them. The calf hair is nice, but they run a little big on me (I’m a small size 5). They’ll be fine and I’ll keep them, but they may cause a few blister before I can officially break them in. In general though, for the price (and on sale), I’d say they’re worth it.

    Love those cut offs paired with the blazer. So casually chic!

    aw sorry to hear you get blisters. That is definitely a bummer! =(
    I guess for me the Gap flats feel so different on me. I usually have to break in flats for a bit before they feel “comfortable” but these Gap flats really felt comfy on from the start, which normally doesn’t happen with the previous flats I bought from Gap. But, of course, everyone is different and hopefully these will break in soon! =)

      I think it’s because my feet are just not the norm (really small, kinda wide, high arches). Dumb feet! I still love them!

    I have the same problem with flats. I got the same pair from Gap but ended up returning them because I didn’t think I would ever break them in.

    I wish I could be wearing shorts right now, it’s cold here!!! I usually get those gel backs from Aldo and they work wonders, a must for me! (of course, only if your blister is on the back!)
