Christmas is my favorite time of the year, so I thought I would share with you what I like to wear
When I think of the Holidays, the first thing that pops in my head is a great sequins mini. Pair it with neutral or black tights and either ankle booties or pumps. If your not into the sparkle, “look at me dress,” go for something classic. Deep hues are great for this time of the year; ruby red, deep purple, emerald, or charcoal. If your wearing a solid color dress, like the one below, add some flair and pair it with fun and flirty tights.

Word of advice: Some short minis are very boxy which make you look frumpy in the mid section. Depending on the flow of the dress, either choose one that has a cinched waist or grab a belt and create curves.
I’m also really loving the skirt-blouse combo. Pair a flowy top with a high waisted skirt or try a one- shoulder blouse like Lauren Conrad.
To finish it off, try a messy chignon, or leave your hair down and create soft curls. I have been wanting to try this low bun up-do, but I am no hairstylist, and haven’t had the guts to try it. Check out Lauren Conrad’s messy chignon… Looks effortless, simple, yet elegant. It really does add the finishing touches.

Tis’ the season with great fashion. Whether your going to your company’s holiday party or staying in with the fam for Christmas dinner, you can’t go wrong in a great mini. I will keep you posted on what I decide to wear this season, and feel free to leave some of your holiday fashion suggestions. Merry Christmas and wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday!!!
