Jovino
For Sunday brunch/lunch we wanted to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful weather, so we checked out several menus along Union Street and Chestnut. Ideally we wanted an outside table, but either couldn’t find the right menu or there wasn’t any tables available. After running around, and being indecisive (that was all me) we finally called it quits and decided on Jovino; a cafe-like eatery with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Despite the fact that it was packed, we ordered at the counter and found a table looking out the open faced window; which was peeerfect: inside, but still felt the sun and were able to people watch ;)
Everything was so yummy; huge bowl of granola with an assortment of colorful fruit, an amazing house salad, and the soy cafe au lait was actually fantastic; milky without being milk! I was so surprised to see the house salad with so much to it- mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, beets, bell pepper, cucumber, broccoli, and fantastic fresh dressing! I couldn’t believe all that came in such a basic $5 salad. To top it off, the place is so cute! I’ll definitely be back; loved.
