Friday night the bf and I headed off to Mamacita to: check off another restaurant on our sf dining list and for a lovely happy hour menu =) $4 sangria and margaritas, how can you beat that? Below is a list of the half-off cocktail menu, all of which we tried except the pomegranate margarita. Usually I’m really picky with my fruit filled wine, but this sangria was understatedly fantastic; sweet, tart, smooth, and fruity without all the fruit (not a fan of chunks), YUMM-MAY! If I could, I’d be here once a week, no joke! Since we only dined on chips, salsa, and guacamole (and those were to die), I’m sure we’ll be back to try the modern Mexican cuisine.
Glad we got in during happy hour, as this place quickly fills up. I take it, it’s a Friday night hot spot, so I’d most definitely make a reservation if I came with a bigger group. Overall, a success. p.s loved the fun decor; modern designs meet Spanish staples.
How was your weekend?
