Vegan + Gluten Free Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Do yourself a favor and make these! They’re unbelievably good and so easy to throw together. Honestly, the time it took me to put the snacks out for the Superbowl, these babies were dry and ready to eat. I used gluten free pretzels and vegan dark chocolate, but obviously, anything works. Hands down one of the best vegan and gluten free desserts I’ve had. Nothing beats salty and sweet… between Mike and I, they’re already gone.

Ingredients:

Glutino gluten free pretzels
Whole Foods vegan chocolate chips
Parchment paper

Directions:

1. I followed the directions from Ina Garten’s White Chocolate Bark. This has been the best way, for me at least, to melt chocolate. Works every time!

Place 3/4 of the chocolate in a glass bowl and place it in the microwave on high power for 30 seconds. (Don’t trust your microwave timer – time it with your watch.) Stir with a rubber spatula. Put it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds and stir again. Continue to heat and stir every 30 seconds until the chocolate is just melted. Immediately, add the remaining chocolate and allow it to sit at room temperature, stirring often, until it’s completely smooth. (If you need to heat it a little more, place it in the microwave for another 15 seconds at a time.)

2. Once the chocolate is melted, dip half the pretzel into the chocolate and lay flat on parchment paper.
3. Wait until the chocolate has hardened (I say wait 10 minutes) and serve!

Easy right?
