I think I’ve officially become a shoe girl! I’ve always loved shoes (I mean who doesn’t) and was always pretty picky as to what I would put into my closet, but I think I’ve gone to the dark side. I’m on a shoe hunt every other day and can never have enough pairs. Pumps, booties, boots, loafers, ballet flats, sandals, sneakers… you get my drift? I just ordered 5 pairs within the last week, yikes!

Aside from my sneaker obsession, I’m all about the flats right now. Loafers, ballet, d’orsay, honestly, I don’t discriminate. I really believe shoes can make the outfit and the more interesting the better. I used to hold out on flats because they were, just flats, but now I’m really trying to make investments on the ones that make a statement, but are still comfortable and versatile. Shoes are my game changers, even if they’re flats!

Who else is saying yes to flats?

Yes, definitely say yes to the flats! I’ve always been more of a heel girl until recently, when all the sudden I found myself buying more and more flats. Shoes are a girl’s best friend!

Yes! What a great post. There was a time when I had some sort of phobia of flats, and all I owned was heels. Now, I agree…it is important to build up a collection of flats (booties, loafers, ballet flats, etc.). After all, I’d look really silly at the grocery store, and target & doing the stay at home mom thing in stilettos.
Funny thing, I just ordered the Madewell Teddy loafers…at 40% off the sale price, then came over here and here is this fabulous post. To think I almost talked myself out of that purchase:)
And, yes…shoes add so much to an outfit.
I love that first shot from SJ!

I wear flats all the time. When you live in a city and walk everywhere instead of drive, it is a MUST! xo

I’m most definitely saying yes to flats! I have to replace my current leopard flats as they are falling apart! Love the suggestions you posted – especially the Steve Madden ones! Sam Edelman has these adorable new ankle strap flats I totally have my eye on for the Spring. Sadly, since I’m in Canada, that won’t be for another few months – but hey, at least flats might be on sale then!

  7. Kristina January 15, 2014

I am definitely pro flats! I have the Madewell teddy loafers in one of the pics and love them. I almost ordered five pairs of shoes last week, but held myself back and just got two instead. I maaaaaay order the other three this week haha ;)

Yes yes yes! This past month I have been thinking a lot about what I buy and how it fits into my actual life, and I’ve realized that the things I’m drawn to are just not practical, and thus rarely get worn. I have so many heels that sit in my closet unworn. I spend pretty much May-November cheering my guy on at the rugby field and MOST of our summer social happenings happen at the rugby club, so prancing around in heels and a party dress just doesn’t make sense. POINT BEING, I have decided to invest in lots of cute flats for this spring/summer! I ordered a cute pair of leopard t-strap flats and a pair of Kate Spade glitter keds to kick things off! ;) So excited! Totally embracing flats this year! Loving the quinnie flats above!

I am always saying yes to flats! They give a little touch of chic to every outfit and I would choose them over heels any time! Great inspirational pics!

Amazing collection! I must admit, I have never liked flats until this summer. ^^ What do you think about these kind of flats, not sure what are those called ? I think they goes cool with this outfit maybe. :)
