Steals & Deals

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while, but I recently found some really great deals and steals and had to share them with you. I’ve recently bought some of them and the others are on my wishlist. I remember doing these types of post early on in my blogging days. I forgot how fun it is to find great pieces at awesome prices and then pass them along to you. Let me know if you like these kinds of posts and I’ll be sure to include them once a month or something.

Steals and Deals

Mango top handle bag – I ordered both the black and white bag. I’ve been gravitating toward small bags lately and I can never pass up a top handle bag. These are a nice dupe to the Chloe Nile bag, but for a fraction of the price. I have yet to order anything from Mango, so we’ll see how the quality holds up. Another steal at $50!

Gap chambray shorts – I have a pair of chambray shorts from J.Crew Factory (here at a great steal as well) that I live in once the weather warms up. When I spotted these, I had to share. I love that they have pockets and come in regular and petite sizes. They’re $40, but Gap always has sales, so you can easily snag them for 30-40% off.

Loft jumpsuit – I saw this jumpsuit in-store and I loved the material. I immediately ordered it online in my size (petite xxs) and I’m obsessed. I know jumpsuits aren’t for everyone, so if you’re not a fan, I totally get it. For those of you that are, it looks super cute with sandals and flats and you can even wear it with a tee shirt under. To me, it just seems like a summer staple. Throw on a panama hat, neckerchief, some flats, and you’re good to go. Super care free and easy.

Quay After Hours Sunglasses – I’ve talked about these sunglasses quite a bit, but I love them so much and the price can’t be beat. The black pair (I have them in pink as well) are super chic and elevate any outfit. They’re thick, sturdy, and great quality, especially for the price. If you’re in the market for a pair of sunglasses, these are amazing.

Who What Wear x Target Top – This top is absolutely adorable and under $30! I’ve been meaning to order it online, but for some reason it says it won’t ship to me….hmmm? I haven’t tried out the WWW x Target collaboration yet, so I don’t know how sizing runs. If any of you have tried the line, I’d love your feedback.

Sam Edelman sandals – I recently ordered these and I’m obsessed. They’re very similar to the Hermes Oran sandals, but for way less (obviously). They run TTS and are a tan/brown color, which is a great neutral to wear for summer. Love them paired with cropped jeans, skirts, shorts, and dresses.

Indigo & Lavender x Madewell Small Shopper Basket – For $40, this is an absolute steal. Wicker/straw bags are all the rage right now and I love the round shape on this one. If you haven’t snagged straw bag yet, this one is super affordable.

Steve Madden Slip on Sneakers – You know I’m all for slip on sneakers and these are a nice alternative to my Vince Warren slip on sneakers. My aunt actually showed up to our shopping date wearing these and they looked so cute on her. She said they’re super comfortable right out of the box and run TTS. They look really nice in-person too. Can’t beat $80!

J.Crew Factory tie-front tee – I live in my Madewell white tie-front tee, so when I spotted this one, I had to order it! I’m a t-shirt girl and I love that the knot gives it a nice little twist. I ordered an xxs, which is my normal size at J.Crew Factory. I will keep you posted on how it fits. P.s. It’s under $20!

Definitely keep these posts coming! It’s helpful that you reference the originals- it’s like a mini education in high fashion for plebeians.

Www is cute but the quality is a little hit/miss, unlike the Victoria Beckham collection which had some really solid fabrics.

Okay, good to know. I’m determined to hunt that WWW ruffle blouse down.

I have a couple of tops from the WWW collection, both in size XS (my usual size in women’s regular). I have a tank top that fits perfectly but is a bit on the long side (I’m 5’4″), and I have a long-sleeved button-up shirt that is a little oversized (shoulders fit perfect because mine are broad, but the sleeves are long and the body is long). YMMV but it doesn’t seem petite-friendly unless something is specifically marked as cropped. It may also run big (can’t remember if they have size XXS).

I tried on the WWW top in size S and it was huge and ridiculous looking on me :P I’m not sure if the XS would have fit better but the sleeves were just a bit too exaggerated for my taste. I have that LOFT jumpsuit and love it – although I need to get it altered (taken in and shortened) and hoping I can still wear it as my pregnancy progresses. Definitely eyeballing those GAP shorts (elastic waist = good for growing bump) and that Madewell bag (FYI – Madewell site says it’s $50) and it doesn’t appear to have a closing mechanism, right?

Thanks for the tips as always! <3
