4 Dresses You Need from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Happy Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I realized I never shared my dress try-on’s in my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try-On’s post. I knew I had this post scheduled so I figured, I share my thoughts on each dress now. All dresses are still in-stock and some even still have the small sizes left. I’m surprised by how much I love this dress. Not that cute on the rack, but it’s adorable on. My aunt says it’s very little house on the prairie, but I don’t mind that at all. I don’t know what it is about it, but when I wear it, I feel so good. Maybe it’s the fit? Or even the midi length. I’m usually not one for a printed feminine dress, but maybe things are changing, lol. I thought I would need heels with it, but I love the way flats give dresses a very casual and carefree vibe. There’s a tie at the waist, that’s very flattering.

I saw this dress in-store and I loved the silhouette. Anything that looks like a paper bag as Mike would say, is my kind of dress, lol. They didn’t have the xxs in-store, so I ordered it online. While it still fits oversized, I love it. It’s free flowing and so comfortable. The emerald green is so pretty and perfect for fall. Because there’s little shape, I would suggest sizing down or wearing a jacket or belt to give it some dimension. It runs little long on me, but if you’re 5’1″ and above, it will hit you just above the knee in the perfect spot.

I’ve been raving about this tunic on my Stories all week. I’m obsessed! The pale pink is so pretty and the length hits me at the perfect length. The pink color runs a little sheer, but I’m wearing nude undergarments and it seems to do the trick. The other colors do not run sheer (I have the brown one as well). This tunic works as dress on me, but if you’re taller you can easily wear it as a top or even with leggings. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and just downright adorable. You can wear it now and in the fall.

I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered this dress, but I must say, it fits like a glove. The shoulders, the waist, the arm length, and the overall length – a true petite fit for sure. It does wrinkle really easy, but I wonder if getting a lighter color would help with that. This dress is great for the office or a day at a winery with the right accessories. It comes in regular and petite sizes and in tan, red, and stripes.
