5 On-the-Go Mom Outfits On Sale
Another highly requested blog post for the Nordstrom sale was about on-the-go mom outfits. I don’t think I’ve reached my full potential when it comes to mom outfits because I’m not running after a little one yet (and I’m only 6.5 months in), but I happen to think my style has always been very mom-friendly. Casual, comfortable, easy to put together, but still elevated and chic. Hopefully, this post gives you some inspiration. I’m also sharing a few tips on how to achieve elevated mom style below.

Mom style does not have to be boring. With the right accessories and a couple statement pieces you can take a very basic wardrobe and turn it into one that is elevated. For starters, you’re going to want to invest in well-fitting clothes, a statement bag, and a couple versatile jackets. You know how I know this – because this is what I do! A great pair of jeans or leggings that look and feel lux will transform your outfit. You instantly look more pulled together and they will no doubt make you look and feel better. A statement bag is a game changer – it allows your outfits to be very basic and casual – the bag is the focus point. Keep in mind your statement bag does not have to be super expensive. Invest in a tote in a classic color, black is always chic and versatile. I feel like Tory Burch is a good price point – a little bit of an investment, but great quality. Totes are great because they can work as baby bags, too! Lastly, jackets are the real MVP’s. They pull your outfits together and can be worn so many ways. I highly recommend investing in a good quality leather jacket (this one is my new favorite!) and a flattering denim jacket. Leggings are a mom’s staple piece and nothing looks better with your favorite leggings than a leather or denim jacket – 2 must-haves to achieve that chic athleisure style. Hmmm.. I’m wondering if I should eventually create a style guide similar to this one, where I share outfit ideas and tips on how to achieve chic mom style. Would that be something you’re interested in?
