Target recently challenged me to a 6 month salvation where I find something in my closet I haven’t worn in six 6 months and create 3 new looks using Target pieces I’ve purchased in the last three months. This challenge came at the perfect time as I just rediscovered these AG legging jeans that have been sitting unworn in my closet for quite some time. With just a few tweaks, I have a new favorite pair of jeans!

As mentioned in this post, I like to take inventory of my closet at the beginning of every season. It helps me toss out stuff I don’t wear, see what’s still missing, and most importantly, I’m able to rediscover old favorites. These AG legging jeans are a prime example. I’ve not worn these in about a year, but after trying them on last week, I was reminded why I love them so much! To help keep them in my weekly rotation, I cut the bottom hem to make them shorter and added more distressing to the knees. And just like that, I have a new pair of jeans! Sometimes all it takes is a little creativity (some scissors) and shopping in your own closet to add the finishing touch to your perfect wardrobe.

I challenge you to shop in your own closet and rediscover or reinvent an old favorite.
