A Learning Process

No doubt, taking outfit photos and following blogs has increased the amount I shop (you can relate right?). Obviously, this isn’t always great on the budget, but I will say it has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone to try different trends (which I’ve both liked and disliked) and has introduced me to new brands. In the past year of taking outfit photos, I’ve found what styles and brands I love, what pieces don’t work on my body, what to invest in, and what to save on. It’s definitely been a learning process. I can now say I’m investing in more classic pieces and not randomly picking up things on sale or making those in-the-moment purchases. So yes, I might be shopping more, but I’m creating a timeless wardrobe with quality and versatile pieces.

A prime example of the above are these Current/Elliott boyfriend jeans. Probably not a brand or style I would have tried in the past, but now a pair a jeans I absolutely love. You won’t know how unbelievably comfortable they are until you try them on. Heaven in a pair jeans. CR’s are on the pricier side, so I would suggest you find a pair you love and know will last you a long time and take the plunge. You won’t regret it!

Have you noticed a change in purchasing habits since blogging or following blogs?
