Happy September! We are feeling the first taste of fall in the PNW and I’m here for it! Back-to-school, new routines and cooler temps all breathe new life into my wardrobe. Last month’s bestsellers include some of my favorite fall closet staples — great-fitting denim and trousers, the perfect jean jacket, a classic cable-knit cardigan, elevated outerwear and more. Sam Edelman Plaid Wool Trench Coat 0– I love this trench! It’s heavy-duty and great for winter. This color is hard to find! I’m in the 0, which fits great. Sleeves are slightly long but nothing crazy. 

J.Crew Stevie Leather Ankle Boots 5- This is THE bootie you should own this season! The short heel makes the comfortable and chic and looks great under wide or straight-leg denim. These come in three different colors.

Madewell Perfect Vintage Straight Jeans petite 23– My favorite straight jeans for petites! Love the wash for fall and winter too. On sale, too!

Levi’s ’90s Denim Trucker Jacket xs– One of my favorite recent purchases! Can’t say enough good things about this denim jacket. This keeps selling out, so if you see it in your size, I’d snag it! The wash and fit are perfection — take your normal size, it runs oversized.

J.Crew Slim Wide-Leg Jean petite 24- My favorite wide-leg jeans for petites! I have these in 4 washes now- so good. Love the fit.

Madewell Harlow Trousers petite 00– These trousers are so amazing! Comfy, love the color and relaxed vibe. Run slightly long on my 5ft frame but work with a small heel or Converse. These are pretty wide. Come in a bunch of colors.

Jeffrey Campbell Ballet Flats– These ballet flats look so chic and come in several beautiful natural hues. I snagged the chocolate brown and black and can’t wait to style them for fall!

Bernardo Hooded Quilted Liner Jacket– Bernardo makes my favorite puffer coats for petites! They’re a great length and really flattering. This taupe color is so good (comes in a few), and it’s currently on sale!

Madewell Denim Shirt Jacket– I’ve been reaching for my denim shirt jacket a lot during this summer-fall transition. Mine is sold out, but this similar Madewell option looks amazing and is currently on sale!

J.Crew Croc-Embossed Leather Belt- A good classic belt can be hard to find and this one looks so luxe at a great price. Comes in brown and black!
