And the Big News is…

… We’re moving (today)!!!

After going through the pros and cons, Mike and I have decided to move back to San Jose (where we both call home). The idea came up randomly and then we started thinking… a bigger place with an office, the possibilities of getting a dog, and closer to family and friends. It was a tough decision, but I think it’s the best decision.

I’ve spent a lot of my adult life in San Francisco, so it holds a special place in my heart. I moved to a big city alone, got my first ‘big girl’ job, started my blog and have become apart of an amazing community, quit my job and took risks, found my passion and started Media Girl, gotten almost $1000 worth of parking tickets, became an excellent city driver, but most importantly, I’ve grown up and have learned so much about myself, my passions, my relationship, and what makes me happy. I grew up.

I’m definitely going to miss calling this place home. But, with that being said, I know I’ll make plenty of blog, shopping, and date night trips up here.

When we first began discussing the idea of moving I was immediately terrified at the thought of changing cities and scenery here on the blog. I get a lot of comments and emails about how much readers enjoy my Weekend Recaps and pictures of the city. I was scared that I would loose you guys. But, after talking with a couple close friends and family members, I realized readers don’t necessarily follow blogs based on location, rather, it’s about the content and the person. Yes, very silly, but this blog has become a big part of my life and change is scary.

So, what’s to come …

The blog will stay the same. Initially, I thought I had to change the title, but for now, I’m going to leave it alone. I recently renewed my domain and don’t want to deal with changing urls, redirecting and losing readers, etc. Obviously, my weekend recaps will change a bit, but I hope to still provide you with pretty pictures and new adventures. You’ll most likely see more friends and family and down the road, a new pup! And for the most exciting news I’ve heard all year, I will be working and blogging from my very own office! I cannot wait to start the decorating process and share the final product with you. As my non-blog friends would say, “you get to make it all bloggy.”- ha!

I want to take this time to thank you for stopping by and following my journey. Your emails, comments, and continued support has meant the world to me. There’s so many more places I want to take ITCWC, so I hope you stick around. I can’t wait to share this next part of my life with you all =)
