Currently Trending: Hoodies and Sweatshirts

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but hoodies and sweatshirts are making a huge comeback (They were big a couple of years ago. Remember Zoe Karssen’s Creme De La Creme sweatshirt with boyfriend jeans?)! I’m wondering if the resurgence coincides with the sneaker trend that’s going on right now. Both comfy and casual – seems fitting. Or maybe it’s the Kanye West trend that’s going viral.

Regardless, I’m happy about it, and of course, doing my part and buying up every cute hoodie in sight. It all started with the Nike rally hoodie that I was obsessed with a couple months ago. They’re just so darn comfortable and a great way to look chic and semi put together when you don’t really want to get dressed. From there, I started picking up cheeky graphic sweatshirts and now I can’t get enough oversized, plain, pastel hoodies. I recently picked up this one from Topshop in both nude and blush (which is more of a dark rose color).

I typically like to wear my hoodies with leggings and go more athleisure, but I also love them paired with denim cut offs or layered with a moto jacket and skinny jeans. What are your thoughts on this casual sporty trend? I’m thinking about doing a style guide of sorts on how to wear hoodies/sweatshirts multiple ways, where to find the cutest styles, etc. Let me know if that would be something you’re interested in!
